I had this on my '86, passenger side strap was hanging on by only the stud that is meant to pop on and off, there was a small hole where the fixing stud should have been. My local dealer initially tried to 'repair' this by glueing the stud back in but it obviously didn't hold. a week later it was booked in when their upholstery 'guy' was in the area and was repaired, I don't know how they did it but I believe they needed to remove the cover to do it and it has been good now for over a year. It was covered under warranty

Spotted a car just like yours in Ashford, KENT the other day - wasn't you was it?

Hi, The USB will charge the device plugged in to it - I use it to connect my iPhone for music, etc but it charges the phone at the same time. Hope this helps

Knight is right - I do have the Auto but would still recommend having the final drive work done. I think I had 4.44 installed, could have gone further but I took Mark @ Abbey's advice as he's looked after me and my car since day 1.
-
I've had the final drive ratio changed by Abbey as a single upgrade some months after the SC work was completed and can definitely say that it was a worthwhile standalone upgrade as in i could easily tell the difference before and after. Go for it

I had this installed by Abbey Motorsport, only took them 30 minutes to install and shows tons of information. Also replaces the vent with a very oem looking finish. http://www.p3cars.com/toyota-scion/ Gauge Modes Boost: This mode will show vacuum and boost. Depending on settings in the config menu this may be from VAG ecu data or an external analog sensor. Boost is read in PSI by default and Vacuum is inHg. If you configure the gauge to metric boost will be in BAR. Coolant: This mode will show your current coolant temp. Unlike the needle on your dash, this will show you exactly the temp that your engine is currently running at, and is configurable between Celsius & Fahrenheit. Air: Air intake temperature. This is the reading of the temperature of the air entering the engine, and is configurable between Celsius & Fahrenheit. Oil: Oil temperature. This is the reading of the temperature of the engine Oil, and is configurable between Celsius & Fahrenheit. Igntn: Actual ignition timing. This mode will show you the ignition timing of your engine in real-time. Egt: Exhaust Gas Temperature. This is the temp of the exhaust gas as calculated by your ECU. Throttle: Actual throttle plate position. Use this mode to see how your car changes the actual drive by wire throttle blade in relation to what your foot tells it to do. rp-Shift: RPM readout. It can be handy to use this mode to see an exact RPM or to record/playback and see your shifts. Speed: Actual roadspeed direct from VSS. This is the actual roadspeed value of the car, uncorrected. This is the raw value, therefore it may not match your cluster which tends to read high in many cars. 0-60: Zero to sixty Performance Timer. Come to a stop and this mode will read “Rdy…” The gauge is ready for you to accelerate to 60. As you accelerate the gauge will time you and automatically stop when you hit 60, leaving your time on the screen. When you slow to zero again the gauge will change to “Rdy…” Batt: Battery Voltage. This is the voltage of your cars power system, anything between 13-14.5 volts while running is normal. AFr: Air/Fuel Ratio. This is the real-time Air to Fuel ratio, Stoich of gasoline is 14.7.

Hello all! I've been a lurker on here for a while, reading up and all sorts - may have even joined another forum but I met Rob today over at Abbey so I thought i'd take the plunge and actually say hello to all of you finally. Sorry i missed out on the BBQ day, would have been a great opportunity to meet a lot of you all in one go but i'll be keeping an eye on events and I hope to able to come along to some but with 2 young children it's not always easy (as you all know!) Anyway, on to the details you all want to know: 13 plate Dark Grey GT86 (Ex Dealership car) - AT Cobra overpipe, decatted centre pipe with resonated Cobra exhaust Sprintex running the standard 75mm pulley Ecutek tuned by Mark @ Abbey 18" OZ Formula wheeels with Eagle F1 tyres They're the main bits anyway. Hope to meet more of you soon, Paul

Looks awesome - looking forward to seeing your progress

I'm such an oldie that my peak of hardcore competitive gaming ended in the era of multi player Quake where i perfected the art of rocket jumps! lol Then consoles became popular and FPS were ported over to them, i never quite managed to translate my skills from mouse/keyboard to a gaming pad - just wasn't fast enough for me - nothing beats spinning your mouse to rotate quick enough. I'll give Bioshock Infinite a try - sounds like my kinda game - Cheers Rob
-
What games have you played that you would rate Rob? (I'm not asking to be argumentative - i'm genuinely interested!)
-
Whilst we're off topic, i'm also considering Shadow of Mordor - Anyone tried that yet?
-
Totally agree, but it's such a beautiful place to get lost in just looking at the scenery...

I've recently got back in to SkyRim after a 2 year break and getting myself an Alienware gaming rig to play it on - still a great game!

Same thing happened to me too - seems the whole bonnet sensor is a little flimsy for my liking

Saw this and being in my 40's I remember this film well, kinda cool to have if you don't mind a bit of geek! http://www.thinkgeek.com/product/1dbd/?pfm=HP_Carousel_FluxCapacitorCarCharger_1

Mine had a problem but has now been sorted, since then it's not gone above 60

Hi, are we talking the built in Touch & Go unit? If so then I updated mine a couple of months ago via the Toolbox software - I wanted to update my maps as I was about to go on a drive through France, Spain and Portugal. I updated the maps at a cost of £109 which updated the system software at the same time. I can't recall seeing an update just for the system as a standalone download. Incidentally, I did all this on my Mac (Boot-camped with an install of Windows for those 'just in case' times!) Hope this helps

That's what I mean, I wouldn't lower just for looks, especially if the ride and handling suffered for it. To be honest, I doubt I will tinker with the height/suspension as im ok with how it is right now. Lowering my 0-62 times though is a different matter. Yes I admit it, I like point and squirt.
-
Thanks yes Lauren it's still std, I've heard it's a bit of a minefield when you start playing with suspension, far too easy to get it wrong, especially if you're only doing it for looks so I decided to leave it as is for now... Trying desperately to not spend any more on her but it's... Just.... Too.... Hard... Lol

Thanks all for the warm welcome, I'm looking forward to meeting more of you soon. Not sure if the above link will work as im using tapatalk to access the forum at the moment but it should be a pic of the car after its 1 week long detail over at KDS in Gillingham.

Mine will quite often hit 90+ :/
