    servicing

How much costs a fully service for GT86 2019 version? Toyota sayd 300 pounds basic and 500 major service. My mechanic told me the parts are expensive but I see them cheap, not bad from toyota sales parts. Normally a fully service by my mechanic goes around 350 pounds, basic around 200 :)) That amounts charge me when I was with the audi before. A5 from 2013 3 doors petrol 184 HP. If somebody has got waranty on his car then you can make service with the trusted mechanic but he must be VAT registered and use original parts if not waranty gets lost. Is any aplication or website where comes the maintenance schedule to make properly? Manual should say all details but sometimes we can miss something to do, or the mechanic understand when let him know to make full service he change all necesary things?

    Fensport vs Tuning Developments

Fensport told me to pay 200 pounds for 4 spark plugs when ask them a quote for servicing, imagine about another tuning parts. Something is strange there, better look for another mechanic in uk

    Oils and fuels to use

Big mistake with 5W30. Manual says 0W20 imagine if you use different oil the engine could be damaged before his standard life or usage.

    Oils and fuels to use

Oil engine can be 0W20 as manufacturer says, now regarding with engine codes, ACEA, and other shits I don/t think that will count too much because most of mechanics add different oil to the engines by eye or old aknowledgements. If manual say 0W20 without any particular code to take in count then add whatever you want with that viscosity. Mobil 1 seems to be good made in Belgium you can trust in that brand. Regarding fuel 95 ron could damage the fuel injectors but manual doesnt say anything, back fuel cap sayd 98 recomended, if is not then 95. Avoid tesco, saynsbury, asda etc. Pay for quality from esso or shell.

    Sainsbury’s fuel

if you use cheap 95 fuel that is the reason of the issue. If no then the life of the pump is gone, search for aftermarket one cheap same as the original part will work properly

    2030 electric legislation

Hi all, I heard on radio about 2030 law to encourage changing our cars for electric versions. Petrol and diesel will be extra charged on taxes and probably fuel will be expensive too. Boris and the goverment are insane, what about fellas with old ferrari's and mini one`s - jaguar`s etc? EV-s are ugly and 5 doors low range of mileage and not sporty cars, not good shape at all. What do you think guys about this plan from goverment? Now I pay 150 quid for road tax :))

    Waze and starlink

Waze is an aplication used in my country to tackle police speed cameras and road accidents.

    Waze and starlink

Waze in uk 🤣 it.s funny but i don.t recommend it. Police is hiding perfectly and people cant tackle them, from the hgv I can see them after passing through - sometimes they have camouflage cars driving around. 3 points and 100£ penalty could be better to pay 1 day for silverstone race track.

    2030 electric legislation

Now it-s possible to make conversion from fuel to LPG - then must be to EV - our models are too nice for rid them off. 1 we can go to live in another country where they accept for long years fuel cars or conversion in uk. In my case I will retire in 4-5 years back home

What to look for when buying a used GT86/BRZ

HPI check - mot check - in person lift off and watch under for rust and other damages underneaf, body inspection, interior inspection, engine inspection, alloys inspection. Uk has got well maintained cars. I recommend to buy from main dealer ex toyota or subaru. Could have waranty if is close to be new.

I preffer to convert my gt86 to electric 😄 i don.t want other
  14. Hi, the problem for this gt from 2019 is the high suspensions, I want to lower them down as a normal sporty car to have nice look from eyesight. Can anybody recommend me a good tuning workshop to fit them? Also the workshop can order for me and install after, I will pay without problems. Last time I had a audi A5 and put prokit eibach coils, but the results wasn.t as my desirable expectations. I live in suffolk but I can travel in essex if necesary, suffolk could be desirable for a perfect workshop in all kind of tuning parts. https://images.app.goo.gl/xvYfDzqmH7HygNUx6 The car should look like that after lower it down. Thanks

    Newbie needs advice

Well, I saw lots of workshops making engine stage on google maps. Look for tuning workshops and call few garages on google maps, some of them will send you to a good one if they don.t care about what you need to make for yours. Steering wheel shoud be changed, that is the worst version for your car.

    Reserved a red GT86 in Wakefield :-)

Remember to make propper servicing, and the car will last all your life. I love uk for cheap price of used cars even in they are 1-2 years old

    Hello all, my gt86 blanco

    lucky you, lowered version

How much does a GT86 cost to maintain?

I had an Audi A5 in the past, 2013 version with 1.8 petrol 6 gears 184HP - in MPG I don-t know the consumption but in liters was between 6 and 7 per 100km. That crap was eating oil every 100miles add a quarter each time to avoid more loose. Manufacturer issue when made that car till 2012 then problem fixed not mine :)) if go to london and back to felixstowe the tanker was close to half. Not bad for a average of 75 mph. The 2L GT86 or BRZ shouldn.t eat much more.

New owner, Subaru BRZ in blue

What do you think about fuel consumption is good or is too high? I know the 70 - 75 mph in uk is a low speed to drive but I am expecting to collect a gt86 from 2019 next saturday. I don-t care about consumption but I ask you as first impression what do you think about it. Hope to get retired with my 86 looks awesome. Tip - try to add sporty steering wheel and lower your suspensions - change alloys 18 inches should be better

    New GT86 Owner

Nice to be happy with this car, I had options to choose this one from toyota but I don-t like the steering wheel is very ugly the middle airbag circle. I choose a 2019 version more expensive 22.495 pounds but is brand new. New alloys and lowered suspension is o good start for it, I recommend you if want nice looking for your car.

Can anyone help me- crashed my car

For future aknouledgment - you can go to your trusted mechanic and he will buy parts for you, if you desire original parts let him know, if go to toyota is more expensive. Aftermarket parts are same as original parts but comes to cheap price because of manufacturers pricing range. Usually japaneese cars has got parts from japan, takes few weeks or months to receive them.

    US vs UK prices.

Uk has got cheap parts compared to fuckin'' EU prices. Search a good tuning workshop and they will find affordable prices parts
