I think the TD kit looks cooler than avo and as a daily driver a turbo gets better MPG vs a supercharger plus that lag means when the turbo kicks in it makes the car feel faster even if it is no faster I find. I like the screamer pipe also.

I can’t find torque pro on the apple App Store, is it just for android? If so what do my fellow iPhone users use instead of torque pro? thanks:)

Why do you “strongly” dislike it? I fully understand how the linear power is predictable so it’s much easier to control especially in the wet which means u can push the car more under control but I didn’t think I would hear someone say they hate the turbo kick 😂

I was set on supercharger at first but then I was thinking about it and I know they’re so linear and so fourth but that’s also the biggest reason I like turbo because I get that kick so it makes it seem faster even if it isn’t you know. What made you decide harrop for u

So one year later on 284nm torque ur rods are fine. Tuning developments turbo gets 235nm torque so I should be also so long as I’m not stupid

How does your stock internals handle 284 torque so far? - EDIT - oh I already asked my bad lol

Yeah this makes much more sense now thankyou for this, I want more power but I do not want to be in the 300s I want reliability so 270hp is okay for me. I am not sure what torque the engine can handle… eveeyone says 300HP but really they should be talking about what torque the rods can stand. some people I have spoken to said rods bend by accelerating hard at low rpm in a high gear but at low rpm u have no torque so you can argue otherwise here. What’s your take on it

What does torque x speed mean? Does speed = rpm in that case? from what you and Martin said it sounds like what I said was right in the sense that when you tune a car all you do is increase torque and since you have more torque per engine cycle you get more HP? The reason I ask this is because I know torque kills our engines due to the diagonal rods prone to bending, so I was Googling if we can get more horsepower but without getting loads of torque

So are you saying that maximum chance of damage is at max torque (5000rpm) or when you’re full throttle at 2000rpm gear 6?

So when eveeyone says a gt86 can take 280HP and past that it’s the engine lottery do they actually mean 230lbs of torque ? Is 230 what you would call safe limit?
