Just curious what everyone thinks this noise is. It appears then disappears and does it quite regularly. The constant noise is the classic cricketing I believe so? You have to have your volume loud it’s not the most obvious noise. just interested what people think FullSizeRender.mov

Okay good point, I have my service in august so il ask them to just look at it while there but the fact everyone’s thinking the same thing is helping settle my nerves a bit knowing it isn’t something worse so thankyou

Hey, I have a carista OBD dongle. I want to monitor my oil temps for just general educational purposes moving forwards. Does anyone recommend a great app to use on IPhones. I don’t mind paying but would prefer stay under £10 for an app. thanks

I have had my car from 30-34k miles and it’s only been making this noise for 3 days. I use AC every time I’m in my car so something must have changed in that period is why I’m thinking it can’t be good

My Subaru BRZ has ow-20 oil. It has a decat UEL header and tune from TD developments. does anyone recommend a certain oil brand or anything? I know I need ow-20 but I don’t know if it’s that simple or if brands matter etc

I just got a 1L MOBIL ow-20 as it’s all I had at my local Halfords and I needed oil badly. But moving forwards I would defo bulk buy it to save money however I would still get the best quality one not best value for money one. I don’t really know how much brands can vary on an oil so I thought best to ask and maybe some people will know. I see that oil says it’s for the GR and supra at the bottom is there a BRZ version ?

Worth mentioning but since we last spoke I got a job at bmw/mini at Marshall’s. I can now get trade prices on alloy refurbs it resprays at myalloys. Probs not worth the drive for u but if u want to then I can try for u

Mine is a professional company I saw their other products the standard is amazing so I was okay to pay the premium. It was £70 per wheel plus they’re fitting my new tyres in that cost. I then had to buy black locking wheel nuts myself as they don’t stock them which I found weird to be fair. myalloys.co.uk i think if it’s done wrong it can very easily look cheap and wrong so I didn’t want to do that. they’re going to fully refurb the wheel from any dents etc then do it gloss black then apply a grey laquer over that which is like a grey window tint (it gives the gloss black wheels a grey tint to them in certain lighting). If you want diamond cut alloys but the silver but to be grey instead of silver it’s £125 per wheel( that’s what the laquer is traditionally used for) hope that helped. I know I’m bad at wording things to make sense so you might have to read it 2-3x haha

I would love to see the outcome of that. When will your wheels be finished?? I meant the hubs though in my comment not the wheel alloy itself, ( the bit the alloy would screw into). It tends to rust after a while and looks Orange against the black alloys and red callipers etc. I’m getting my alloys done black on the 30th if yours will be done before then then send me a photo of it so I can see please haha

I know theirs 1000 posts on this but I think the more people that post on it the better. Each post might have something of value to someone so I wanted to as well. first rattle is here this is what it looks like exposed... The plastic clips rattle here so I used adhesive foam on the bottom of them(link at bottom to cheap foam) Next rattle is this ... the exposed part is made of plastic and so I put adhesive foam here (this is the bottom of the back seat) next is here ... This corner piece on both ends rattles against the glass window, I filled behind it with foam. The hole here is what hole you need to push foam through to fill it, i recommend you put your finger in first to feel where it needs to go, photo of hole is below... next is here... (at the top of the window that plastic piece) the roof liner is lose you can easily get small chunks of foam and push them in there hidden... next place ... this area in general, I know it looks ugly how I did it but it’s all invisible when the seats are back so I don’t care, I just made it tight as hell, no movement.. next... this is where the break light is... that piece, I put foam on the edge where it sits against the back seats as it was plastic on metal and had movement... next... next is all of the holes in the boot, this pushes the third break light up so it can’t vibrate on the glass window. I filled every hole and put duck tape there to make sure it doesn’t pop out. Also every cable here I made tight so they can’t move about here is one extra photo Next part... this is the obvious part, I put foam where the wheel arches are and then I put adhesive 3m foam EVERYWHERE after that, im sorry I have no photo of that but you know what I mean, the entire boot is covered in 3m adhesive foam. Hope I had some stuff useful to you. I found another rattle which I thought was my passenger seat. Turned out to be this. FOOTWELL AREA tap the silver plastic part and it will sound slightly loose. When driving on not perfect roads it sounds like spare change in your pocket but near the door. to take them off is super easy. Next get a screwdriver and then press the metal clips on the back to make a firm contact with the plastic part of it. It will now be tight and won’t make any noise.

It won’t be available in a year because if it’s available in 3-6 months i would probs get it😂

I would buy it but it’s too early I can’t afford it right now
