The brembos make ur car look so much better , I wish I could bring myself to spend the money on them but I can’t. Was considering just buying cool looking brake discs tho lol.

Hey, I looked for some fancy brakes like blitz or Brembo because they look nice but didn’t realise the extend of their cost. what are performance aftermarket pads like on stock callipers? (I don’t track my car, I’m just looking to spray my callipers black and while at it may as well get new pads as mine have 30k miles on them.) what pads would you guys recommend for stock callipers for the nicest street driving. any advice on the matter is appreciated thanks:)

Review on Tuning Developments NA KIT + stock exhaust. I drove 200 miles to meet Mike at TD today so had plenty of time to remind myself how the car drives stock. I drove another 200 miles home after. This is my review, hopefully it can help somebody else decide if they want to do the same one day. NA KIT, UEL Header. With the stock exhaust (except the header and overpipe) the car is barely louder than stock, the exhaust tone changed however. On my drive home most of it was motorway driving so 70mph at 3000RPM gear 6... the car felt like a different car in that situation, the only way to describe it is the car felt like it had lost 100kg of weight, or something like that. It felt really throwable if that makes sense, or like someone had attached rope to the front of it and was pulling it lol. Another big thing you will notice is... imagine a drag race ... when you accelerate in gear 1... 0mph to 25mph, as you start at 0RPM and go to 7000RPM you will notice the 0-4000RPM range will be much more aggressive, my tyres smelt as a result once I got home😂. Once you enter gear 2 at 25MPH you will already be at 4000RPM thus the improvement will be less noticeable. if however you were at 3000RPM in gear 2 then you would feel the increase just like you did in gear 1. the 20ish% more torque low end makes the car feel very light and agile. on my drive home I kept finding myself getting to 100Kmph* by accident because the car can pick up so much faster in gear 6 at 3000RPM. Not good since the m6 has so many speed cameras😂 Mike himself was lovely and for 3 hours sat in his office and answered all my random questions until my car was finished. I have done 210 miles with the kit 190 being motorway driving. If I think of anything useful to add later I will. —————————stuff I added later———————— I feel that from 0miles to 300miles after the install the kit keeps improving both the sound of the exhaust and feel of the drive. Like wearing in leather shoes. Don’t know if this is true but it’s how it felt to me. Something which pleasantly surprised me was that the kit made the exhaust smell nice, you know like a strong petrol smell. That which you smell from a straight piped car. I never considered this when buying it but a pleasant extra lol. The 5mph to 30mph gear 1 pull makes it worth it by itself it makes me laugh how that changed so much. I feel not having to be at 5000 rpm to feel power inspires confidence in me driving, not a dangerous confidence but I just feel like I don’t have to be on the limit to get power sort of confidence. I also rarely even go to 6000rpm as I don’t need to be squeezing power from the car. That could be seen as a reliability gain?

The cancelled insurance was speeding with a black box which also lost me a year of no claims. The rest is though yeah, i decided after this one I am going to do drift days like you said. After how much a ball ache this repair process had been.

I’m on admiral multi car we have 6 cars on the policy. I’m 20 with 0 years no claims 2 claims and cancelled insurance so it will be an interesting one 😂

I bought it for 14k in December then crashed it and had it repaired but my dad said it isn’t a CAT car so I don’t know know? Why do you ask?

Hey, I found them online for £1350 with 5 weeks shipping or £1450 in under a week shipping. I feel people would prefer buy it from the website to get buyer protection and warranty etc.. on such an expensive product when the saving is minimal?

Yeah a lot of people when I did my research had both so it was harder to see with a stock exhaust. oh my bad I meant kmph thankyou😂

That’s such a good idea, the glove box one might be that last one I posted if you try that, that last one I posted if you vibrate the speaker in the dashboard the corner of it is loose so I feel it could be that but I don’t want to try put anything there and risk it touching the speaker. the air con also for me makes a slight buzz from that location also.

Maybe you listen to music loud or you need your ears checked bro😂 if not then you’re the luckiest guy alive. see road noise i actually weirdly like it I just don’t like rattles they drive me insane.

Are you 100% sure it’s the seat lever ? Try the silver bit at the bottom of the door when you open it, I don’t know what it’s called but open the door then a silver thing with black dots on it. It might be to stop you scratching the paint when you get in and out I don’t know, but that thing if u shake it it rattles for me so maybe it could be that

The BRZ/86 has many rattles stock, part of the fun on owning one is the constant fight to remove them lol

Inside the dash theirs a tiny rattle it’s so small I can live with it as I can’t hear it with music. Is that what you’re on about inside the dash? I don’t get my seatbelt stuff rattle but instead when you open the door, the silver bit at the bottom like a carpet for the door.. that thing.. rattled. Maybe it’s that? Try it

I have a subwoofer so usualy u can’t hear them but since I replaced my car battery my audio system needs to be reset or something so I’m driving with no music for the week. My music right now is trying to find rattles 😂

Does 225 fit on stock alloys nice? Stock is 215 but I heard you can fit 225s on it? or do u have custom wheels
