Next is to lower a further 5 to 8 mm taking note of lever ratio of course !

Took your advice Hashiriya and yesterday softened the front by 5 clicks. Then did a test run on a nice bendy B road. Wow, instant improvement. Then I got paranoid that I may have done one clockwise and one anti-clockwise. Wound them all the way in counting clicks and actually found they were 2 clicks different. Reset to 5 clicks softer than preset and top job. So easy to do, don`t even have to put the wheel on lock to access and they even have a lever/knob on the bottom of the shock for adjustment. May play with the rears next.......

Nice review Lauren, my wife has a 2014 VW Tiguan, great car, we both love it. Due to the issues I had with my gearbox on the 86 we didn`t even bother with looking at the Rav4. The pics of the interior above tell me it was a wise decision.

You won`t regret it -
5L V8 with options only £34K and a bit.............Mmmmmmmm nice !

I bought a Spa oil pressure and temp gauge. Made my own mount in the drivers side air vent and bought the necessary adaptors from scooby parts for about £30. Wiring through bulkhead drivers side was fiddly.

Same here, they are $79.95 in USA in matt black or transparent black. They currently don`t advertise worldwide shipping which is a shame.

Ha, ha, yes Scott told me you enjoyed browsing our site and BTW your order will be ready next week ! I am so chuffed to bits with these shocks. Have kept them at factory settings for now but may drop a further 5mm all round later. Need to see how close I am on our sloped drive. The car has so much more feedback and handles so much better. Really feels like a sports car now. You can tell what each corner is doing and the left and right front wheels no longer feel like they are welded together and are totally independent. I was worried they would be hard but on standard settings I find them absolutely ideal. Abbey aligned them up for me after my install but they weren`t that far out. Looking forward to more sideways fun now !

Got these babies on yesterday, very straight forward to fit. Only issue was undoing the OEM link bars. Off to Abbey tomorrow for alignment. Have not driven yet as am waiting for alignment.

Just received my Race seng shift knob and reverse lock out direct from the USA. All I can say is what fantastic quality. Pricey but very very nice. I went for gunmetal finish and will post pics once fitted. If it wasn`t for Faith and her orange Race Seng knob I wouldn`t have known they existed. Got fed up with "traders" advertising other products that they don`t actually stock so bought direct. Also got excellent customer service and a personal email from the main man.

I use a Scangauge which sits very very neatly on dash at right hand A-pillar. It looks much better in real life and ignore screen colour, that is on boot up ! Can be fully configured and shows 4 gauges at once. MAP needs different sensor to be correct, also does MPG etc etc

"Minimum Premium £300" why would I ring a company advertising higher premiums than I currently pay ?

Bog standard primacy ditch finders for me ! So controllable and such fun.

Compared to the kit I had on my MX5 the Sprintex is very very quiet. My MX5 sounded like a Spitfire fighter and was very very addictive. You only hear the Sprintex when gunning it at higher revs. Having said that since the 2nd decat pipe was fitted mine sounds oh so very sweet when you open it up. (H & S unres & cobra 2nd cat delete res) maybe that`s why I can`t hear the charger.......again you are welcome for a ride. I will be at Abbey Jan 2nd for 4 wheel alignment after fitting the HKS coil overs. At motorway speeds no drone and very tolerable.

Really bizarre how a finely crafted knob can make the driving experience so much better ! Still crunches 1st to 2nd intermittently tho` !

Wow, got back from business trip to Berlin and a nice big BRAND NEW (not dusty Stu) box at work for me. Already studied instructions and plan to put them on over Xmas then straight to Abbey for alignment. Can`t wait !

Absolutely correct Rob a classic case of do as I say not as I do. He was offered £1500 for them a while ago. Obviously has no need to sell them or indeed an aptitude for sales. Still, polishing them will keep him busy these cold winter evenings.
-
I will cut off my nose to spite my face sometimes but I do have principles and integrity. My offer was genuine and I would have bought them for my price of £1400 unseen. If I can`t get the deal I want then I always walk away. Buyers market, they`ve been for sale for weeks and no other obvious interest.

Have just ordered these and plan to get them on over Xmas then a 4 wheel alignment at Abbey. Got fed up with the attitude of the seller on the other side on the Ohlins who expected his price and his price only yet couldn`t be ar$ed to post pics of their current condition. Too much of a gamble on such an expensive used item. Enjoy your polishing Mr Ohlins, rawlplug, screw and Mr Sheen in the post !

Thanks for the feedback Geoff, I appreciate it! We are a small company (4 motorheads!) trying to fight the uphill battle of designing and manufacturing completely in house! What a beautiful bit of kit, the pictures don`t do it justice. Will be a shame to install it and get my grubby hands all over it. Have already given you a good plug on one of the UK forums. Many traders over here advertise parts but hold no stock so offer no benefit. So glad I found you ! Have a great weekend. Yes, it is gunmetal, photo is cr&p.

The pictures do no justice at all to this fantastic piece of kit !

Hope to fit today or tomorrow but have DIY duties first......
