I can confirm these are excellent exhausts, bought mine (unres) on recommendation from Stu on t`other side. Local Merc specialist even remarked very positively when they fitted it for me. I now have a 2nd cat delete pipe (resonated from Cobra via Abbey) with the Sprintex and boy is it sweet ! Even has a bit of a Subaru burble now. However, round town it is still urban friendly. Also, look at the gas flow routing, much better than other offerings out there with "T" junctions at the silencer box. My car made 234hp at the hub with the Sprintex. £300 is a bargain !

Had to go to dealer yesterday as drivers side door seal is distorted as pointed out by Abbey during 2nd service. WKB Toyota have agreed to replace under warranty. Offered the Service Manager a ride which he gladly took up. He was fine until I very childishly changed to map 2 and floored it in 2nd and 3rd then went very quiet and a little pale.

I first expressed interest in the Sprintex kit when I saw it at Abbey during the open day in 2013. I was very very dubious as had a bad experience with a supercharger on my Mk2.5 MX5. Several chewed belts, 2 nose puley bearings shot and my confidence was very very battered. Mark assured me this was a very good kit of OEM quality. Due to my previous experience I decided to wait and see how the kits went in the field. At the end of May this year I was in the area and had time on my hands so made an un-anounced visit to Abbey. Mark was very accomodating and took me for a test drive. I was sold on this kit now. He had been running the kit for 9000 miles I think, with no issues to report. several kits had been installed there and also some self installs with no issues. I asked Mark to quote me and several emails went back and forwards due to my budget and final spec of the system. He was very patient and nothing was too much trouble. I paid a deposit and the install was this week. They were ready for me when I arrived and provided a loan car with the only proviso that I return it with as much fuel in as it had when I took it and of course undamaged ! All of the staff I met were friendly and polite and the workshop a hive of activity (unlike the place I had my MX5 done.......). When I collected the car it was the same courteous service. Mark explained everything and gave a demo of the map changing via the cruise control and showed where the oil level is checked on the charger and also the coolant reservoir. The car is now absolutely fantastic. Loads of torque and tyre screeching sideways fun so easy to achieve now. Certain corners on my work route are going to have black lines on them soon. Look out Butlins visitors cos that corner on the seafront has always been a favourite - MIND THE WALL ! The Cobra 2nd cat delete pipe is great, with the H & S main system it now sounds a little Subaru-ish and from mid-range onwards really does sound sweet. The power delivery is fantastic and very very addictive. Coupled with the MTEC shift springs they fitted I would now actually class this as a sports car where before it felt more like a 2 door coupe to me. This is what the car is missing from the factory - low down torque. You now don`t need to cane it to make progress. I ended up with 234hp at the hub which I think is a very good result. I`d like to thank Mark, Scott and the team for a very positive experience and excellent service. I feel confident that if there were to be any niggles it will be swiftly rectified. I can highly recommend them and the Sprintex kit and am so glad I took the plunge.

I originally had the H & S system with unresonated centre section. Found it great. When the Sprintex went on the 2nd cat was removed and a Cobra decat (resonated) pipe put in its place. Now it is fantastic. Deep at low revs but when you open it up it has a real growl to it. On Map 2 it is sensational. Was going to quieten it but not now, love it to bits ! It has unleashed a bit of the flat 4 burble and is a great pensioner / grockle scarer on Bognor seafront !

Gimme, gimme,gimme..... that`s two teasers from you in 24hrs Mark !

Getting mine done at Abbey Motorsport next Monday along with a 4 wheel alignment. I wouldn`t trust WKB Toyota to put air in the tyres let alone service it now it`s been tweaked !
-
Thanks, not of interest as need heated. Cheers

Oh well, why advertise if not able (or willing) to reply ?

Are the seats heated ? If so how much for all seats, both door cards and rear side panels ?

My insurance is up for renewal and have now (oops sorry AA I forgot) declared all mods and added my car to my wifes Aviva policy. AA would not cover mods. This includes wheels, exhaust, lights, Seibon kit, Sprintex supercharger (and I told them 234hp @ hub) and audio upgrades. Cost to add to her insurance that expires 14/6/15 = £113.35 indicative price for both cars renewal at todays date £420 (her car is a 2014 VW Tiguan 2.0). Very very pleased with that. The Tiguan on its own was £244 this year and AA wanted £213 for the GT (no mods). Age 51, PO21 postcode, 8000 miles per annum SDP & commuting.

Looks like they`re yours Rob.

How much less, I have a Parcelforce account and could get them collected if the price was right...

I`m lazy.......

What are you Man or Mouse ? I purposefully enter our industrial estate sideways every morning when conditions allow. Now it`s dark it`s a bit too dodgy but in the summer I was getting the back end right out and keeping the power on as long as my sphincter would allow. I also do this on the bend on Bognor Seafront by Butlins every time I can. Really getting this one sussed as the tarmac is so smooth. On Map 2 as you floor it away it really roars (H & S cat back unres, Cobra 2nd cat delete). as for heated seats - they are cr&p compared to German offerings !
-
What drop from standard are they currently set at ?
-
Even more fun with a Sprintex, no way would I change the standard tyres, they are so predictable and slideable.
-
Just got back from a week away to find the GT86 filthy and covered in tree sap. Who gives a sh*t when you have a Sprintex under the bonnet ! Raining today - that`ll wash it off.
-
Yep, if I hadn`t done this then my 86 would probably be gone or on its way soon. Makes it go like it should !

I had forgotten how much difference air density and temperature make on a supercharged engine. Last Friday was out and about at 10.15pm way after my usual curfew. The outside air was very cool and slightly damp. Boy did the car fly ! Flooring it in a straight line the arse end really squatted and front end got light. Brilliant ! oh and did I mention the sound.............
-
Well, on standard runs to work and the occasional spitited blat returning 29.6mpg to the last tankfull. Pretty pleased with that. Proves that if required it will return very similar figures to OEM, but that`s not what it`s all about. Really does make it a dual purpose car now and even at low revs the additional torque and engine pick up is such a vast improvement over OEM. Well worth the investment Mrs Subota Boy.

Can I have 2nd dibs if he doesn`t want them ? Happy to pay by bank transfer.
-
Keith, tell her it is a mandatory safety improvement to remove the torque dip.
