Hi guys I need help/advice from other people who have Tein Flex A coilovers. On the rear I originally lowered 20mm from the standard height Tein set the coilovers at. I then went to get it lowered more but the guy who fitted them told me they are maxed out eventhough there is a lot of thread left. I saw him trying to adjust it more but he couldn't. The fronts however can go much lower to a point where this no arch gap. For the rear, right now I have 1 finger gap between the tyre and the fender. Is this the case with these coilovers or is there a way to go lower? I have attached pictures of what it looks like. Thank you

I have some oem parts for sale from my 2013 GT86.Selling due to upgrading headlights to vlands and getting new alloys.Alloys are in good condition. They were refurbed last year Feb to a darker chrome colour. One alloy I clipped the curb but none of them have a full on curbing as I have been very careful when parking. I think one has stone chips. Can send close up of imperfections if interested. As you can probably tell they are a bit dirty with brake dust lol. They are wrapped with Westlake Zupereco tyres which came with the car when I bought it last year. 2 of them have decent tread left around 4/5mm and the other 2 have around 2/3mm tread left.I also have for sale the OEM headlights. None have condensation in them and work great, again only changed them due to getting VLANDS.Alloys and tyres: £200 (collection only) Headlights: £500 (+ shipping which I havent worked out) Location: Grays RM18

Thank you so much Will. This helped a lot. I only really looked at nengun. On there it doesn't mention that the kit is discontinued. Its only 2.5k for the basic kit with the T518Z turbo (around the same price from RHDJapan). Thats what got me interested in it. However this is without shipping, import fees etc as well. I was hoping even with these costs it would save atleast a couple hundred pounds rather then going to uk turbo fitter. The greddy kit doesnt look too promising if the direct copy had issues. I think I might just go to Fensport or TD then. Appreciate the help Will.

I wanted to know if anyone here has fitted the Greddy turbo kit. I'm looking to turbo my GT86 within the next year and I was looking at this kit specifically because it's a bit cheaper than others (I know I shouldn't cheap out on a turbo) but after seeing the videos of it on that popular black 86 drifting it has put my mind at ease a bit in the sense that it doesn't seem so dodgy lol. That plus the epic turbo flutter which is louder than other turbo kits has made me really consider buying it. If anyone has fitted this kit, how is the quality/reliablity? And where did you get it fitted from? . Thanks

Ok that's good to know. Yeah 255/35/18 or 245 is actually the size I was looking to go so maybe I will require the top mounts and LCAs like you said. Thanks for the info

Thanks Rich196. I think your set up looks good and it does give me a good idea. Did you have to get droplinks/LCA for them to fit properly? Ok Mac I understand, thanks. I am leaning towards them due to all the positive reviews as well. I wish I could fit everything myself but am not that technically competent lol

Hi Mac, Thanks for the reply. I also researched a ton, as wheels/suspension is quite an expensive mod it only makes sense to do so. That's good to hear about the Flex A's. Is there any reason you chose those in particular over other coilovers? Ok so I will definitely get new front adjustable drop links, thanks. Did you have to do anything extra to the rear as well? New rear drop links or lower control arms? Sure, will post pics once I have got it done as well as the FI progress.

Hello, I know this has probably been asked quite a few times but haven't found the answers I have been looking for so decided to post. I have a 13 plate gt86, stock wheels and suspension. The car is my daily driver and I don't really plan to track it, however I am getting a turbo fitted within the next year. My goal wheel/suspension set up is to have a flush fitment, little to no arch gap and deep concave wheels with low profile tyres. I plan on getting bigger wheels, either 18x9 or 18x9.5 and lowering the car on coilovers. My first question is which coilovers would suit my needs best? I was looking at tein flex Z but people say tein flex A is better. Obviously since it is my daily I dont want to sacrifice comfort too much. I would prefer the flex Z as they are cheaper but if the flex As are that much better then I would be willing to get them. Second question is do I need supporting mods with the coilovers? I was looking around and it seems people get new front drop links, rear LCA, camber plates etc. - all that stuff I have no clue about. I just know I would like minimum camber and a flush fitment. Third question is which wheel offset and tyre size would be best for a flush fitment with 18x9 wheel, 18x9.5 wheel? Any help will be appreciated.
