If you go to Builth wells via Talgarth the road is better and quieter, They dropped a few sections from 60 to 40 but as long as your careful you can make safe progress
-
,I was about to post up that I would come but would be on the Fireblade or Kitcar if that was ok then remembered I will be coming back from my Euro trip that weekend in the 86 I will make one of these though
-
I should be going with a few mates. But not in the 86. Most likely with my mate is his Lotus S2 111s, and mine and my mates Tigers Supercats . Will keep my eye out for any 86's there
-
It was more about the lack of mid range and power it could do with. It was either the last or most recent review they did on the supercharged Cosworth 86 review that have also done

Some lovey roads around the area but within a hour you have done most of them. the mendips is nice and close to me but again not very big. And why most of my riding and driving is over in Wales as you can spend a weekend there (mid wales as I have done a few times) and still not do half of the good roads around there
-
I'll try and post pics up later. Spotted about 5 86's and a BRZ including one 15 plate on yellow. I was unaware they did yellow but it looked lovely Anyone from here? I took my Blue Tiger Supercat. I tried to see if any of the owners were close by to say hi to but did not managed to catch anyone

By 11am it was very busy and most people try and stay around the same parking places. I had a Ferrari 575m, 599 and Lambo park across bays in front of me for a little while but they moved when people wanted to get out. And having a few more cars to look at and hear was fine. All in all it was a good meet and all the people where great to talk to as you would expect
-
We have done many meets over the past 10 years there. Only downside is when its organized on a public meeting and in 2010 we had the max power lot turn up. Burn outs, loud ICE and Mcdonalds rubbish littering the place. AS it was organized via PH with Cheddar themselves and money went to a local charity. Cheddar were not happy. Nor us. But yesterday went well

I would have found it difficult to choose between the yellow and Orange if both were available when I got mine last summer also. Lovely colour
-
Well we may have not met but was lovely to see a few 86/BRZ there. Is the yellow a new colour for 2015. I will say I did like the looks of the colour on the car. really nice

South West/Gloucester Breakfast Meet 26th April - Event Date: 26 Apr 2015
remal replied to Marshmallow's topic in Social Meets
I wish I was not busy that weekend. When I seen the first line about traveling further north I was thinking it was going to be further than 30 miles North east. I can fully recommend Wales for a run. Lots of nice places to eat (Around Usk, Abergavenny, Elan valley, black mountains) . A little further north but not far if you make a day of it. Where I'm going this weekend and why i'm unable to go out the following one -
I've been to Europe with the kit car many times over the past 10 years for le mans 24 hour But it set for regular. So never looked for super. "And why I asked" As for getting good fuel it's not always been that easy. 2006 i'm in a kit car with a 25 ltr tank. 25mpg at best. 11PM on a Sunday and I was almost fecked as the automated payment fuel station did not accept UK cards. But not had that issues since. thanks for the replies
-
Hope this has not been asked to many times. I have searched and not found what I'm looking for. Just under 6 weeks and I will be taking the 86 over to France Via Portsmouth, Down to Switzerland, Austria, German etc.... And looking forward to it Now I always fill up with Super. Not that fussed what make just that it's super, which is the main thing for me. Now I have in the garage and was thinking of taking 2 bottles of Octane Booster. one is sTp octane booster and the other is Wynn's octane booster. Both I bought just in case I was unable to get a good quality/Ron Unleaded while away. Is this a good idea? I was hoping it was. Also has anyone used a Octane booster as I have not cheers for reading

OK nothing fancy but I do like the looks of this http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/121429109303?_trksid=p2060778.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT Like the import looks of having the number plate to the site. I gather it's legal to use as you would use a standard No plate on there And has anyone moved the front plate

WOW worked a treat and now looks 100% better Many many thanks

Seems my passenger door has dropped or is not fitted well. I've not noticed it since I had the car but was giving it a very good clean yesterday and notices a small chip of paint has come off where the door opens. I looked at it closer the the top of the passenger door is not in line. IE sticks out a little to much at the top and this has marked the paint when the door has been opened. I intend to take it to toyota this week but has anyone also had this issue? Pics to show what I mean
-
Right will give then a go shortly thanks again for the advice and comments all. Looking forward to meeting a few of you at Jap fest

Toyota's New Sports Car Will Sit Above GT86
remal replied to Captain Duff's topic in Non GT86/BRZ General Chat
Wish I never shown the wife this car. She want's one now price is a bit steep thought for me so she will have to work for it lol -
I've had the car since Aug last year. It gets looked after and had only done 2500 miles but it was not until I noticed the chip I then looked at both doors and noticed they not not both aligned the same Seems daft I have not noticed it before bit it's not something you would expect or look closely at both sides My local dealer will be getting a call for me to take it in this week
-
Nope, car was new when we got it, No damage to the car at all. I only noticed it when I seen the mark on the door from it rubbing.
-
As you can see the drivers door is fine but the passenger is out a little and when the door is open it has touched the front wing and marked the paint. So Anyone else had this ? cheers for looking
