hahah load of crap Pro cee'd GT. yes I was looking at one with the 86 but if you buy a car you like the 86 you really need to buy one with the heart not brain. Why I'm glad I have the 86 and not the Pro cee's GT

Not when it's full of more fun cars and bikes than the lovely 86. I bought this after it was recommend and found it to be bloody great stuff and really helps with the frozen windows and issues with them sticking

you can get it from most motorstores

Slightly off topic a bit But I have Escort Cosworth Alloys on my kit car which is 8J width and should have 245 tyre on it. The car was built in mind for 205/45/16 wheels on a 7J width alloy But has built the car around the wheels I am running 215/40/16 on the rear and 205/40/16 front to fit under the cycle wing and rear tub. never been a issue and I love the escort cosworth alloys I did not want to change. The only issue I get is trying to find a 205/40/16 profile tyre as there are not that many about

Bristol. So only a hour easy drive. It would be less but as I'm between Bristol and Bath it takes me as long to get to the Mway as it does from Bristol to your way while on the Mway

I have a few cars, 2 that go to dealers, 1 I service myself and alway have. the kit car which I also built. The Fireblade I have had for 4 years from new never went back to Honda and I would rather have my local JHS raving service and look after the bike than the local Honda I know are not great. Resale value not to worried about as I have about 4 people who want the car once I am looking to sale which i'm not for many years yet. Ok they may or could drop out but I've known them for years and they have bought from me in the past a few times In the end I have had many years of going on the dealer route and DIY route. Both have had the same outcome apart from it costing much more paying the dealers.

Right so standard oil filter. Well I track my kit car and Fireblade (the bike a lot and still use the OE oil filter). Just thought I would ask beforehand with the oil filter
-
Rebabs to stock oil as long as you use the 0w20 rated oil does it matter what make it is ?

Sort of off topic but we have more of a issue with the bloody Mayor of Bristol at the moment as they have put many of the roads to 20MPH FFS. Big long wide roads and 20MPH!!!! they seem to forget you cannot stop people getting killed on the road, not matter how stupidly low you put speed limits. Poor driving standards but most importantly stupid people who cross roads without looking and such like will not stop people dying even if all roads are 10MPH. Every government will say anything to get votes and still rape the motorist

How long do you plan to keep your 86/BRZ?
remal replied to griffinnn's topic in GT86/BRZ General Chat
We had had our 86 for 6 months and plan to keep it a minimum of 5 years and hoping longer. Lovely car, needs a few mods and turbo or supercharger. But We take a lot of tie deciding what we want then keep it
