20% Off Millers Oils NANODRIVE CFS Engine Oils
remal replied to GT86-Ian's topic in Non GT86/BRZ General Chat
I've used Opie oils a few times and always had good service from them. I used them for the oil I have in my 86 at the moment -
I have a few CD's in the car but use a £10 16gig micro USB memory stick and that keeps enough music to keep me happy for months at a time.

I first seen it here http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&f=23&t=1546731&mid=38735&i=0&nmt=RE%3A+Toyota+S-FR+concept+for+Tokyo&mid=38735

Only just seen this and unsure what to make of the looks. it may grow on me but for now I don't really like it.

HAHA good thread. Had no issues with my lights fogging up until the last week after the chap who needed to remove my right light to remove a dent from that side and since it's fogged up. I thought something was not right and could not the the issues other said about as it was only a week ago the light was out. Will be removing the light, drying it out and putting back on but not tightening the bolts right up as must be the case

I used Steve At Denpusher. A independent chap that was recommend via people int he south west who have used him via Pistonheads. And did an amazing job of removing the dents.

Well what can you do. I was hoping the last few miles before getting home it would not be that bad. It could have been better, Could have been worse but still annoyed like hell Filled the car up on the way home from work. On my by pass which I only need to do 3-4 miles doing 70 a car pulled out to overtake a car on the left and I was about 5 car lengths back., then all of a sudden a large yellow bit of plastic that was on the road flicked up then hit the bonnet and smashed against the screen. Result: well the windscreen was intact, only scuff's that cleaned out. But the bonnet had 3 dents in. No paint damage thank god. Having a recommended chap coming to look to see if he can remove the dents. I would rather try that first then get the bonnet re-sprayed. Also having 2 door dings removed that happened while touring in May. first time in 20 years of driving i've had anything like this happen. and of course it had to happen to the 86. I take great car in cleaning and looking after the car. parking a long way away from other cars in car parks etc.. as well Just 1 question. is the car bonnet and doors Steel or Aluminum ?

I will say I do miss the radio controls on my wheel in the 86. Not that it's a huge disappointment but I do use them on my daily drive and often on other cars i use in the week. When i say it's not a big problem as my other 2 toys don't have them either but they also don't have a radio.

Need to get the bracelet shortened as it's still to big due to the size and weight on the watch and cheers

Well just got back. Explained the issue. That it has been used but left Friday until Monday when I went to use it but dead. They did checks and told me it was faulty and strange that I now have a 65ah battery fitted but now sorted

Well after the Horror of road debris hitting the bonnet and smashing against my windscreen and then denting rear of our 86 I had Steve from Dentpusher https://www.facebook.com/Dentpusher & http://www.dentpusher.co.uk/ come around this afternoon. I had a few door dings on both sides of my car. It seems to be a magnet for idiots plus these new dents and this is the first time i've ever used anyone like this and am amazed at just how bloody well he did in removing the dents. Car looks 100% now. I was only recommended him via Pistonheads and glad i did give him a call He covers most of the South west> i was very happy with his price for the work he did. Arrived on time and only wanted 1 cup of tea after being asked lol So if you need anyone like this then he gets my recommendation

I was unsure at first but amazed at the results . It's not easy taking pics of the dents. they were not big but annoyed the crap out of me. I'll try and post up before and after
-
Well it's been used more than just a few miles to work and needed another jump this morning. So going to call my dealer and get them to look at it
-
I have the guy coming to work tomorrow to remove the dents. as I said not used anything to remove dents before but he comes highly recommended. The dents are not huge so hard to take pics to show you lot but I will report back afterwards to give my view on how it went and if it's worth trying Fingers crossed
-
Cheers for that. I know steel is easier to remove dents. but hoping she can reduce or remove the dents to the bonnet

Seen that last night on FB. I like the front from what I can see

I was going for winters last year but decided against. Glad i did as we had about 3 morning frosts over the winter and that was it. Going to buy a set this year as we cannot keep getting mild winters and don't want to get caught out. just in case

A few have used 16" wheels and I think thats what recommended with the BRZ/86. I'm going for a set of 17" winters and buying a new set of wheels for summer tyres to go on soon Lots of thread about this over the past year or 3. Worth a search
