Mate was driving so went M4 off at Newbury and A34 M3. Back roads won't be a issue as we will go the night before and find a travelodge or pre inn next time

OK not your normal event but as I've never been and fancied going i'll be their with a few mates. getting a lift now (I was taking the 86) is my mate from Newports V8 Jag. Should be fun. Anyone going. thought it was worth asking

What a cracking day we had on Saturday. if anyone has never been and liked to look at old or new bikes and cars then it's worth a trip. the only downer was the traffic trying to get in took a hour to do the last 5 miles. But still worth it. All day looking around, the motor museum was impressive as was all the stuff you can buy. Hoping to go next year but will be heading down the night before and staying locally so we can get in early and make the say of it

Well I downloaded the demo a few days ago and had a blast last night. Well what a good choice of 5 car from a S2000, RX7, a few others and of course a GT86 which I had to have in orange. The demo gives you 3 races and 1 invitational doing indy car racing at a oval. The handling is great, graphics amazing and the last race is in the wet and my god it's fun. hitting a pool or water makes you aquaplane which is interesting but also makes you do different lines to get around them. A bloody good demo and hoping the game will be as good when it's out on the 15th. If anyone own's a Xbox 1 it's worth looking into. My gamer tag is knockedremal. I can be found currently enjoying Destiny

Project cars for me was a huge let down on the xbone. hardly touched it and I did try to get it running how I want. But being able to drift the 86 with a few simple changed to the settings was great. I only use the controller but like to have everything off apart from ABS and use manual gears.

I'll add a few of you later. Destiney had been the only game i've spent a huge amount of time on ever. Currently have a titan, Warlock and Hunter all maxed out. Love the game and on often so if you see me on a raid or POE, VOG join me. As for Forza looking forward to this a lot. it was only after the demo last night I bought the ultimate edition.

Unexpected things you like about the GT86

it love's losing traction. I went for a blat at lunch time to Bath after it had just rained. Lots of fun Averaging over 33MPG RWD is always fun so I knew that. After a year of owing the car both me and the wife still just love driving it. Which is strange for a daily driver. I normally only feel like this with my kit car and bike -
I use rain X or more recently been using Car lack sealant or wolf chemicals glass sealant. I don't change my wipers ever year but only when they need replacing. Only bought a spare set of these wipers as for the money they are very good and it's handy to have a spare set for the sake of under a tenner

Just a heads to all If you have access to costco they sell Michelin Stealth Wiper blades for less than £5 each. been using them for some time on my daily drive and going to get some for the 86" So if your looking I would recommend then for the price and that they do a good job of cleaning your screen just thought I would mention this

I have 2 optimates but these are now built into the garage as they are used for the kit car and bike. Seems little use has drained the battery so a good run is needed. I have a Snap on battery tester and load tester to check the battery while on and during start up Cheers all the for feedback

Sorry for the topic renewal. I went to start our 86 this morning and I would not start, The dash lit up but nothing from the engine. I have put this down to many short trips and not a huge amount of use lately. I was under the impression most new cars have a alternator that will quick charge a battery even on short trips. I only heard this a little while ago from my BIL. So I'll be keeping a eye on this. it's the first time this has happened in over a year of owning the car. Glad I have a booster pack in the garage I always keep topped up. So getting this and fitting to the car it started up first time..

I would have a google at reviews done my Evo mag and such like to see what options you have for your budget. For me 2 important things are needed for a performance car are oil and tyres. http://www.autoexpress.co.uk/accessories-tyres/91856/tyre-reviews-best-tyres-2015 http://www.which.co.uk/cars/driving/car-tyres/best-car-tyre-brands/ http://www.evo.co.uk/features/15659/which-is-the-best-tyre-for-summer-performance-tyre-test etc..

I asked my toyota garage about this and they are all like this so I was told I only noticed it when I was about to fit mud flaps
-
They are now but when I bought one they were legal. I still have mine and it works but have not used it in many years I swear the one I have was a jammer and will have a to take a pic and look into it. Not that I use it. Just that I came across one last year in the loft

wanted to not like it but looking more at it I do like it. unsure of the interior. It keeps with the looks I like of the 86/BRZ so yes it gets a yes from me. I like it
-
I like it a lot. But would I have it over the 86. No. For me the positives over the Type R is better looks on the 86, RWD Only thing I would like is the power of the Type R

There is 1 other orange and 1 white we see every now and than. Glad they are not common but always nice to see another one passing
