!!!!!!!!!!!!! these http://www.halfords.com/motoring-travel/bulbs-wiper-blades-batteries/wiper-blades/bosch-aerotwin-flat-set-a928s-21-19 £34 for 2 blades. Dear god how much. having used the one's from costco. I'll keep with them. I'm very fussy when it comes to my windscreen. I like it to be clean, Use Rain x or similar aften. and good blades but when you can pay less then £10 for a pair I feel halfords are taking the micheal

Slightly off topic I've got and fitted a Blitz suction pipe and put the blanker on for the noise generator. I removed the pipe up to the first joint and blackned this off. it seems to be ok and is this what others have done to remove the noise generator? Now I have a Avo exhaust there is no need for generator and why I removed it Just wanted to make sure what I did is ok

I looked for months for the right exhaust for our 86. I was going for the SP elite but was concerned it was going to be to quiet/similar to standard. I ended up with the AVO turboworld 2.5" exhaust and fitted it about 3 weeks ago. And have been really happy with it. bought via Fensport who where great to deal with All I wanted was something a little more fruitier than standard but not to loud if your on the Motorway. And I know I made the right choice. AVO gets my vote

Thoughts on a Breitling super avenger 2 with a yellow dial. Seen one a few weeks ago and very tempted to get it. From what I know they are not that common in that colour dial Anyone have one? thoughts if you do?

Am I the only one thats grateful that 86's and BRZ's are not common site on the road. I for one went for the 86 as it's beautiful, great to drive and no a common sight. AS for having as much chance of seeing a Stag on the road as a 86, that's going to be highly unlikely. Can't really put a brand new modern car on the same lines as a 30-40yo british built car. Any That are not rusting spend 11 1/2 months a year in a garage And when you consider almost 26k Stag's where built. having only 3.5k left is not many

Google maps, type in circuits and see what is local. then use direction and see how far from you they are. I've done many TD's in my kit car and never had insurance. But it's never been a issue. Much the same when I go on Motorcycle TD's like I'm doing at Brands this weekend. I looked into it but seems how much you pay is something not worth it.

I have searched and not found what I wanted. Sorry if this has been posted before. I have the standard Exhaust and Would like to get a backbox. Something that is a little louder than standard. Which is very quiet. Having come from a Week away touring Europe and hearing what our 86 sounds like going through many many tunnels compaired with a Lotus S2 with a aftermarket exhaust, A porsche 964 and even a Morgan Plus 4. I need a louder exhaust, So looking for just a backbox. looking to keep the twin exits. Would like something well made Most important is the noise. I don't want something that you hate after 1 hour on the motorway as it's TOO loud. But also don't want to go for anything thats to quiet. I want fruity as the rev's rise if you get me So what would you suggest? What do you have? And looking about seems Miltek like to crack. Is this common?

--at home. I wanted to service the 86 myself (Well my BIL who's a Ex Toyota Mechanic and also my bets mate) who I trust implicitly. So I had the Motul 8100 0w20 oil. HKS Super hybrid filter, OE oil filter. And also had Evans prep fluid and waterless coolant that went in. Took few hours as the prep fluid needed to go in. warm up and air taken out. then cooled down and all done again with the waterless coolant. Well after all was done and the Avo Exhaust was added a week ago I will say it seems to rev a little more freely now. Next mod or change I want is saving up for some Works Emotion wheels in white The one thing I will say is that I'm amazed at the amount of scale that came out of the coolant prep fluid you can re-use. Bare in mind We had drained the original coolant fluid and I did not filter this. In the pics are filter I have to filter the prep fluid. More scale in the engine that in my 5 year old engine in my kit car when I changed to waterless coolant then. Anyone else changed the coolant and found similar ? cheers for reading

Vid from My Euro tour - France, Switzerland ---
remal posted a topic in Meets/Show & Shine - Pictures & Videos
Germany, Luxembourg , Belgium before going into France to get the short ferry home from Calais In short I went touring a few countries, around 1670 miles in total in 6 days. We left to get a night ferry from Portsmouth to Caen Sunday night. Fresh to take on France on the Monday. All we had planned was head towards Switzerland but only if the weather was good. otherwise head toward to sunnier weather. No Hotels pre booked or return ferry. And as always works out great. Car's that went was our GT 86, my Mates Lotus S2, A Porsche 964 Carrera and Another's Brand new (50 miles on the clock) Morgan Plus 4. which did not like being run in at over 100MPH with less than 150 miles on the clock and thus flashed a few warning lights. that after they got ignored went away thankfully. https://youtu.be/M_yS1PgFxvU -

I was looking at the Greddy exhaust but after talking to LordGrover about his 2.5" Avo exhaust I will be giving you a bell to find out a little more basically looking for a nice quality exhaust. Just axle back really and something that's going to be fruiter than standard but not to much. AS long as it's not going to do my head in on motorways I would like something that sounds as good as the car looks So phone call will be coming your way asap

Having been on another GT86 forums but i'm glad I found this place. Everyone seems helpful. A forum is only as good as it's members. And why i'm happy to contribute to the place as best as I can

I ran in mine as per the book. Manufactures are not going to spend £££ in development and not tell you the best way to run in a engine. Just my thoughts though
