  3. I am going to put a few orders in soon for Exhaust and was wondering this. I'm on a few forums as seems most traders provide a little discount. Just wondering if this was the same here or not. No harm in asking and I won't know if I don't So I hope you don't mind me asking cheers Matt
  4. Phew I was getting worried I was seeing things after Lauren's post lol
  5. Just a further question. Why does it state £12.50 annually renew on the 86 premium membership But £10 for the BRZ? http://www.gt86.org.uk/forums/store/
  6. Ok had a look and it's in the store. May I be as bold and say it's not that easy to know where to go to become a premium member. Other places I am on has a link at the top of the forum or such like. Seems it's a little hidden in the store for newbies and such like Just saying
  7. OK cheers for the info. As I use the forum and have found it very handy and informative with lots of helpful people on I would like to sort out a premium membership but when I look the only thing I can find is the donation page. is this how to be come a premium member? If no would you possibly point me in the righ tdirection thanks matt
  8. Wanted to replace my old jack with something new and lighter. I had a look around. The company that makes them wanted £20 more than I paid and driftworks also sell them for another £10 on top of that. Bought mine at Costco for £124 include delivery Sent from my Nexus 6 using Tapatalk

    New addition to the garage

They have a heavier one at Costco which lifts around 2 - 2/12 ton and weights 24Kg for £89. as I looked last week before buying this one which is online only. Lifts 1/12 ton but weights 12.5KG and what I wanted

    Hello from potential new owner

Welcome to the forum. I've not had a TVR but know many who do. What was the issue with the TVR?
  16. I'm interested in the Blitz Suction Intake kit and If you posted this before last week I would have had the filter but bought a HKS one for our 86 last week to fit at the first service I'm doing Would you split and if yes how much would you want for the Suction it. Also is this a direct replacement for the plastic one that you get as standard. IE can I still use the resonator if I don't wish to disconnect this?

    Watches in the GT86

I don't have any pics of my watches currently but like them also. Current watches are a Sinn UX which I wear daily. A Omega Plane ocean, Tag Twin time, plus a few others
  18. .. my wife does. Our GT86 was standard for the past year until we got a new Fin aerial. Only changed it as it looks nice The wife loves the sound and looks of the GT86/BRZ's we seen at Jap fest. But it's one thing to say they look and sound nice but another trying to explain spending money on new mods. but talking to her this week she came up with the " by why change things that are not broke" and on a new car. I've replied with " personalise a car to how you like it" the sound of a car is important. To me anyway. And car's and bikes are my only hobby ( i'm not a football fan, rugby etc) so don't spend any money on other things apart from my love of all things with wheels. Apart from scooters and cyclists. Have you ever needed to explain to your better half why you want to change things when they are new or don't need replacing? I've managed to get the wife to understand that a extra set of wheels and winter tyres are a good idea. If we ever get poor weather our way. So thats ticked off the list. A nice set of white Works wheels will be on the way this summer. As will a set of winter tyres Still working on the exhaust as I would like to add Greedy SP elite exhaust. My wife is as much a petrol head as me " enjoys watching F1, Moto GP and going to BSB etc... But it's just the "replacing something that is new or does not need replacing that I struggle with getting my view across. Agree we are not all the same which is a good thing. it's good to talk and wanted to see if anyone else gets this or just me lol
  19. She will buy shoes and wear them out very often before buying, but a good idea for her dress shoes etc...
  20. haha if your single or even have a girlfriend that dose not count in my books. It's technically the wifes car as I have 2 others and a bike. But it's also a family car. One of mine is my work car the other a kit car so not really a family car We both went for the 86 over a boring daily driver as we like the car. We don't add many miles and for me (and the wife) it's more about having a car you love to drive and enjoy than something that's cheap to run I've mentioned the " to make the care more us" but it's more to make the the car more "me" if you get me. I know once my wife is coxed into seeing my side of the mods she will love them. Just takes a bit of work to convince her

    New Mini's

oh don't get me started with the 500. Nice looking little car. Then they did the 500L. Not nice at all. most run of the mill cars are getting so boring. Take Ford. The original KA looked different to the rest of the range. As did the first Focus to the mondeo etc.. Don't get me wrong they new one's look nice and the front grill reminds me of a Aston front nose but the ka, Focus and Mondeo just look the same. Apart from being longer as the range gets bigger. I know if thats what most people want then great but seems the days of having different cars are gone. Then you get into manufactures who use the base of one make of car and other manufactures put a different body on them
