I use the mono sports on my sprint car, pretty harsh with the springs they come with but I run softer ones anyway. My OH has flex A on her 86 and I would say it is better for comfort.

I have the blue one and Lauren has the red one, at least we have one in the south 👍

As an idea 500bhp 4WD cars with launch control are doing 0 to 64 ft in 1.9secs I'm at 2.1secs with RWD so fairly hard launch.

I have the Exedy clutch in my my FI 86, feels very similar to OEM and stands up to sprinting and track work well. Had all sorts of clutches in previous monsters but they tend to not drive as well.

Just been reminded I'm at a concert this day ( Kylie Mynogue ) so will not be able to attend.

After getting my car back from Tuning Developments where I had a forged engine rebuild and one of the TD turbo kits done, it was a baptism of fire and straight into round 1 of the TSS at Cadwell Park. The car performed without a single hiccup, mapped at 280bhp so as to comply with my class rules it felt progressive but very punchy. I will need to adjust my driving style to get the best from it as it certainly is a step up from my NA kit, which was superb. I took a few people for some passenger laps on the track day prior to sprint day and the opinion was it felt pretty good. I would like to thank Mike and Nick of TD for the hard work and hours they put in to get me ready for TSS, all the details will be on the TD website soon for anybody wanting full spec.

Went forged just for safety as some stock boosted engines have dropped rods, also the car spends most of it's time on the track and I may want more 😆

The wheels in the picture are XXR 527 8.75 x 18 et35 with 255/35/18 for sprints I run 9.5 rims with the same offset. The internals will be listed on the TD website soon, but it is the usual rods, pistons, valve springs etc...

Welcome along, there are meets of all sizes right up to the big one at Japfest etc.. check out the various threads and it would be good to see you. Quite a few of us compete also so another outlet for the club and fellow 86'ers 😀

I had a set on my oem wheels, not too good but will do until you get a new set.

I think a lot of people get them on PCP deals and move on to something else, but the purists remain 😝
