I raced on K Sport brakes and won the series, but had issues with warping discs. They didn't like big stops from 160 + mph. Otherwise were good for the money. Used AP on the second season and they were superior.

Good job Rob !!

Totally agree Lauren, people that drove my race car often thought it was too much of a handful but as you say all have different styles. Mark from Abbey drove our 86 and made some really interesting comments, and was surprised how compliant it was. Most important though is confidence in your own set up IMHO

Have a little Faith will you Mr K ;-)

If you have the budget, go for AP IMHO
-
Shouldn't worry Rob, everyone's grateful for sorting/looking after it all.

While on a private test track yesterday !! A run from 50 to 120 with a Z4 took place which resulted in the 86 being left by about 3 car lengths, however the bend at ( speedo 121 ) Oh ' s comment that completely changed. So the quest for a little more power was made clearer lol. However handling is rather fun !

Not up on Beemer models,13 plate with an M badge that looked miss placed to me. But yes through the high speed bends no Problemo. Really missed the 100+ horses of the old ST, but fun just the same.

I have fitted an Agency power system, will get the db kit out later and do some tests.

Showing my ignorance of the brand here, is there much difference between BRZ and GT86 ?
-
Totally agree, I have 9.5 rims with 235's and shed loads of grip. The coilovers are set up to my style of driving.
-
Do you think they will quibble on a mildly tuned vehicle, not that I have the problem but a thought never the less. Hope you get it sorted ASAP.

Not going to try and discuss this on here, but would love to chat about it at a meet with anybody interested. Having done extensive testing on a 700 bhp turbo engine with the help of an F1 engineer. Trust me under bonnet temperatures are very relevant on forced induction set ups.

Daveb depends on suspension, ride height and many other factors. Some prefer less unsprung weight while others more grip. Very subjective but interesting never the less. I run 18 x 9. 5 with no problems.

IMHO 245 is too big, if the sidewall gets too upright you can get deflection which could feel unpleasant.

What an interesting read, I shall not comment as my 700+ engine was turbo charged but running water injection with no meths. Different opinions from owner/driver and tuner are common, so you guys all have valid points. IMHO none of which are wrong.
-
Might join you guys, although I will be 500bhp down on the last time I drove Snetterton.
