Kenwood DNX4230DAB. This has been a brilliant head unit. Sold my car so no longer need it. It has DAB, Garmin Sat Nav. It comes with a custom surround which I have made so it fits well in the car (the surround was over 40 pounds from Toyota), and I have made a custom USB/Aux port from a GT86 unit (so it looks standard). It's all ready to plug straight in and start working. I've done all the hard work on it. Only thing it is missing is a DAB aerial (about 20 pounds from ebay - they stick to the windscreen so are 1 time use only). 300 pounds including delivery. Bargain!

Yes might be worth while. My car was covered by warranty, but I had batteries problems, and trying to convince the garage of battery problems was a nightmare, so in the end I just brought one.
-
£30 - Collection from Harrogate or Leeds The standard battery on the GT86 is notorious for going flat. I had this fitted to my GT86 and never had a problem with starting it since fitting. I've now sold the car so its surplus to requirements. Used for only about 2 months.

Binnacle provisionally sold, I'll drop you a PM now.

I have for sale a few items after selling my GT86. Items are located in Harrogate Kenwood DAB Garmin Sat Nav Radio (with DVD player) - DNX-4230DAB - £325 posted, £310 collection Comes with everything you'll need to install to your car apart from DAB aerial (comes with brackets, aftermarket cable converters, GPS receiver, usb port which I have integrated into a GT86 port, so it looks standard). The DAB aerial can be purchased for around £20, and can only be used on 1 car (as it sticks to the windscreen). I'm also including the surround with centre dash piece (surround is glued with automotive glue onto a centre dash piece ready to use). The centre dash piece is over £40 alone. The brackets have been altered slightly, so that unlike many headunits, this one fits in the right place. Eibach Pro-kit springs - £80 delivered, £70 collection T&M Alcantara dash binnacle - mint £40 delivered, £35 collection (note picture is not mine) - Provisionally sold

Wanted: Radio dash surround & USB/Aux module

Let me know if anyone has these and are willing to sell. Thanks, Matt -
I'm looking at selling my pride and joy, as the wife will soon be giving birth and I really need something a bit more practical. Its a 2014 (14 plate) car with 31000 miles. I've used this car for my daily communite. It's never been on a track day. I followed a strict running in procedure for the engine, and this was the main reason I purchased the car new. It has full Toyota service history and has just had the 30000 mile service completed last week. Spec: Satin Whire Pearl (37J) Red Alcantara Seats Automatic Gearbox Centre console cover I'm looking at selling the car with its current light modifications which are: Rays 57xtreme wheels with Continental Contact Sport 3 Tyres all around (5mm rear, 7mm front) Rear tinted windows (35%) Eibach Prokit lowering springs Kenwood DNX-4230 DAB radio with built in Garmin sat nav and DVD player Blackview Car Camera with Blackview Magic Pro controller Alcantara Dash Binnacle The private plate is not included. For the above I'm asking £17500 If you wish to have the original wheels & tyres (which are immaculate), springs and radio, then I'm asking for £18100. Location is in Harrogate. Any questions, please drop me a PM, and I'll get back to you as soon as possible. Thanks, Matthew

Does anyone have a cosworth supercharger fitted that wouldn't mind taking me for a passenger ride in. Ideally I'd like to go in one with a standard exhaust, but that might be asking a bit much. I'll be at JAE this year, all be it on a different stand (I'll be on the club323f stand) Matt
-
Hi guys, Lauren - the cosworth supercharger can be fitted without the cosworth exhaust. It's referred to as Stage 2.0 instead of Stage 2.1, 2.2 or 2.3. It runs at 260bhp instead of 280bhp with the full exhaust system. Smudge - essentially trust. I trust cosworth. The package looks great and looks easy to install. I don't have to worry about tuning, as all the files are included.
-
Hi fella. Saw someone else tonight with the same fenders as yours, they didn't need any spacers on with the standard bonnet.

I'm on holiday at the moment in Florida. I've contacting the Orlando owners club and I'm hopefully going to meet up with them on Friday evening. Will post some pictures up afterwards. Just thought it was kinda cool Matt

What's the offset of the wheels? is the bore for the gt86? Do you have more pictures of what they look like on the car?

Wanted: Standard front anti roll bar

I'm based in Harrogate, however my sister lives in Worcestershire and I visit fairly often, and my parents visit her almost every week. How much would you sell it for? -
As title, please PM if you have one for sale. Thanks,
-
Hayward and Scott exhaust from Stu's car. Had it fitted to mine, but was just a bit too deep for my liking. So I've gone with a milltek resonated instead (very conservative). Item location: Harrogate (can be Mid-Wales or sometimes Norfolk) It has the large silencer fitted (most expensive). RRP: £648 Price: £300 It's a bit dirty as its been on a car, but still great. Here is a picture of its on Stu's car. Exhaust tips are not included, you will have to use your own.

Done deal, please close this topic Rob. Thanks

If the buyer see's this and wants to come forward I'll let him. I have a buyer seller confidentiality law. I will say they own a GT86 though, sugar I've said too much......

Now sold

Thanks for the comments guys, it is a lovely exhaust, just I need something ultra quiet (hence the milltek resonated) as I do so many miles. The milltek resonated is way to quiet for most people.
-
Does anyone have a resonated Milltek they would want to swap for my Hayward and Scott cat back with large silencer. The H&S is just a little too loud for me, would be quiet for most people I think, but I want something only marginally louder than stock. Thanks Matt
-
Anyone have a resonated milltek in the Yorkshire area (or near)
matt posted a topic in GT86/BRZ General Chat
I'd like to hear one in comparison to my H&S exhaust, so let me know if you nearby and don't mind showing me. Thanks, Matt -
I've just fitted the following: H&S Backbox H&S Back pipe with large silencer H&S Overpipe I'm quite surprised at how loud the car is under light throttle. Car is quite loud on startup from cold (when rev's are higher). It also has a very deep tone. I was expecting something only slightly louder than stock under light throttle, with more noise near the top end. Does this sound normal? Plus I thought the H&S with large silencer would be one of the quietest on the market..... I brought the exhaust second hand, so its already has carbon'd up nicely, so not expecting a change in noise. Thanks, Matt
-
Thanks Rob! If I cant find a resonated, I might drop her a PM. Manchester isn't a million miles away, I only work about an hour away.
-
Thanks Rob. It's probably not that loud in comparison to other exhausts. I'd like to hear a resonated milltek in the flesh though. As for the startup noise, I can get round it by putting it straight into drive or reverse (auto gear box). If I remap it I would probably like the increased startup revs at cold removed. There is a slight drone in the cabin at cruising speeds, but its very slight, I've certainly been in worse. Do you know anyone in Harrogate, Leeds are or surround with a resonated milltek? Long shot I know.....

Adrian, I understand you can buy the cosworth tune on its own now (for a standard) exhaust. How much will this cost? Also, will you be able to tweak it for upgrades (such as after market exhaust)? Thanks, Matt
