I've got a Tomei UEL manifold, Tomei overpipe, Tomei Type 80 titanium front pipe and Tomei Type 80 titanium cat back and it's absolutely amazing. It's louder than ridiculously loud, drones like hell at all times and prevents you from thinking let alone listening to music or having a conversation, top stuff!! Highly recommended. I've got some really crap clips but once I've got the car clean (waiting for a chance to wash it) I'll get a half decent video and put it up here, watch this space.

I did wonder where he went
-
LOL Nick I did take it easy tbh as I was very aware you were right behind me and I didn't have my ear plugs
-
I'll probably come along and watch if I'm free for the social.

Welcome to the club! Not a fan of air rides myself but I must say that install looks ace!
-
@MangoNo5 what did you search for when you found this MCE store? Can't find it They look great, if they can do them in green or black I'd be really interested.

Haven't been on here for a while... Yeah it was just spiking at 127db and that was when I was playing with launch control, I think it hit 124 before that. Regardless, it's utterly ridiculous to most people but I like it. Yea it's the Tomei 80, with all the other Tomei bits too. Yea I don't think mine are too keen. I don't keep my car at home either so I get to piss off two lots of people
-
@rob275 Are you thinking of The Lion Inn in Boreham? Not bad there, I believe we went there for that meet we had when your car was being painted also. It's also only 10 minutes from mine haha
-
Yea I had a feeling that was the case, I'm not a screw expert but I've never seen a Phillips head screw on a car apart from maybe on a headunit. I might go and take another look then, pretty sure that there is a greasy hole where it was so it's a bit odd... Before I found the hole I thought it could have flicked up as on the way to Thorpe Park I had an almighty bang come from underneath the car in that direction when I was on the m25,strange that it's stayed there so well. No one has touched the car other than Torque Dev on my watch and Abbey so I can't see how it would have been put there deliberately.

Does anybody know what this screw is for (pics below)? Looking at it's location I'm inclined to think it hold some under tray in place or something but it seems a little long! I'm guessing it's nothing major but I'm a careful guy so I wouldn't mind knowing what it is and it's been too dark/wet so I haven't wanted to get underneath it. I had a really nasty creaking noise when turning out of my garage block (90 degree turn) and I found this behind my front left wheel, seems to have completely unscrewed itself! I'm going to get it to Toyota ASAP as I want it looked at as I wonder how on earth it was making such a horrible, loud noise. I worry that the thread has been destroyed where I assume the screw was up against my tyre tread whilst turning. Thanks in advance for any help.

Congratulations! @nikndel Looks like the Chelmsford one

Welcome to the club buddy
-
Yea that's precisely what I based my assumption on!
-
I absolutely love it when I've given it a good clean and then go to get petrol when it's dark. At this time of year that can be straight after I've finished the wash, looks incredible
-
Even though I knew all of that already your description has made it more appealing smudge lol. With some of the cars you get there I assume there is no noise limit, is that correct? If there is, I'm boned.
-
That's the one, I'll get something up tomorrow
-
Sounds great, I love mine Keep meaning to get an update / some vids up of mine (full Tomei system), will try and get time later
-
Surely an equal length going up to a top mounted turbo is bound to look a little like that. I'm with Kevin. Tomei, big fan (have UEL)
-
Lol that BRZ for sale already? A few of us saw that at a meet a little while ago
-
I have one of those, very nice
-
You're not alone Will, I travel 7.7 miles to the nearest Shell lol. Not a drop of anything but V-Power has gone in it yet
