You will cover the holes on the front fine James, they are inside the holes on the mount. On the rear, my holes were kind of raised slightly, not sure if that will cause an issue. I've just drilled the new plates and used the holes, although I do need a sticky pad for the bottom really as it flaps a bit when I close the boot Take a look at my project thread for an Aero with a Jap style rear plate

Funnily enough I've heard the MX-5 and the 86 referred to as hairdresser's cars so I'm afraid that we all may have an inner hairdresser waiting to get out... I won't bother sharing my opinion and getting dragged in to this though

Bit of a delayed post as I've been very busy but last Wednesday I had all of this turn up at my work. Contained within were: Tomei Expreme UEL manifold Tomei Expreme over pipe Tomei ExpremeTi Type 80 front pipe Tomei ExpremeTi Type 80 cat back Needless to say I was pretty excited so an unboxing shortly followed.. Now I haven't seen many exhaust bits and I don't really know good from bad but it all looks like epic kit (verified by people when I had it fitted) and the titanium bits are insanely light. I went and got the front pipe and cat back fitted last Saturday, just in time for Japfest thankfully. I don't think I can overstate how loud this thing is. Now I thought it would be loud but it's even taken me by surprise. There isn't really any escaping it and the drone is pretty fierce. That being said, I wouldn't change it for the world I'm completely in love with it and now I'm looking forward to finishing it off with the UEL and the over pipe. The only thing that makes me cringe a little at the moment are the cold starts in my garage first thing in the morning. It's earth shaking! If I up the revs by about 100 though it really helps and once it's calmed down the idle isn't particularly offensive. I'm going to a couple of meets this weekend so I get to try it out some more and I'm most excited. I thought this was going to be a meet of people getting together to play Next Car Game (Wreckfest)! I was thinking the target audience will be pretty bloody small for that, although I was interested.

I always used to hear good things about the Toyo T1R in my hot hatch days, they are also probably my favourite looking tyres. I was having a look at them the other week though and demon tweeks were offering them for about £60 a corner in my size so that set alarm bells ringing a bit. Shame they're mid range really...

Funny that Keith, Aviva completely stunned me when they didn't change my premium at all when I added a few mods. They don't charge an admin fee either and I've had every call so far answered within 10-20 seconds by a nice and helpful person from the UK. I do have a worry that I'll eventually scare them off though, which will be a shame.
