Open Day Spring 2017 @ Tuning Developments 16/04
Ztox replied to Mike@TD.co.uk's topic in Tuning Developments
Would you be going the day before or on the Sunday morning? Me and @Leevsfortyone are going up from Essex, not sure what his plans are yet but you could probably head up there with at least one of us.- 126 replies

11 minutes... I was expecting it to take a little longer than that lol

Still paying off for other parts so money is limited as I'm really trying to clear things as I would love to be able to ask TD to fit a snail this year. That being said, I have a few things I should have done by Japfest... Detail and coating check/top-up with my Gtechniq guy (already booked for start of April) Wrapping - Gloss black roof and I'll also be getting the little sectioned-off bit below the grille on the Aero bumper done Window tints (rear 3) Interior bits - my Anarchy Motive gear knob has been sent this week and I'm probably going to go for some NRG bits (hub, quick release, deep dish wheel, handbrake handle and seat belt pads) Mapping - Removing a couple of maps I never use, getting a new map added to make my exhaust pop and crackle (can you imagine?!!) and I want to look at moving the map changing functionality to accommodate a possible lack of cruise control.

I was gonna say, I thought you were fully aware of what they are like Dank zorst toobing

Did someone say cats? I did ask for a bit of popping etc when I got mine done but it really doesn't do it enough, only time it does it regularly is shifting from 1st to 2nd. My third map is pointless as it's the same as 2 but adds autoblip which I have no interest in so I might ask Mark to replace it with some silly one when I'm there for my March service. Need to switch the map changing too really as I've been looking at steering wheels...
-
You have a separate map specifically for sound effects? Man I need that
-
Yea mine has four maps (Abbey) but I never change it so I needn't bother having options lol. Only really use one of the raceROM features and that's the flat shifting, partly because it sounds awesome. Never touched the auto blip as I like rev matching every downshift myself.

Very nice. Hope to see you at a show soon then

I was thinking about what wheels for a while, 0% finance won it for Work in the end and then I just picked the one I liked most. Maybe something to consider if you don't want to break the bank

Hi Gary, welcome to the club. Had the car long? Any plans for it?

Sales Query? - Looking at Selling my Stock Aero Kit?
Ztox replied to Stutime's topic in For Sale GT86 / BRZ Parts
Welcome to the forum Stu Not sure what the pricing was like when you got yours but when I bought mine the stock '86 was around £25,000 and the Aero was £27,500. I remember thinking that £2,500 for a body kit supplied, painted and fitted with some wheels that don't look utterly gash was a smashing deal. So I'd say that about £2,000 is the new price really, at most/being generous, considering the OZ wheels cost about £1,200 new. Obviously you could argue that you're getting it cheap as it's bundled with a brand new car, which is why I was didn't subtract the full new value of the wheels (plus the fact that you don't get the stock wheels). Also, different things are worth different amounts to different people and that's just my opinion so there is that GLWTS anyway, I'd be interested to hear what you do get for it. -
No issues with the itself, but the surrounding plastic came off of mine after owning the car for only a month or two. Really need to sort that lol

Welcome to the club Lee

I've never been a fan of the lane changing indicator thing tbh. I personally don't feel that three flashes are enough to last you signalling your intent and then actually making the move and it's probably this that encourages people to start indicating as they start turning.

Get it now and get a private registration, sorted

Just change your bumper

Yea I believe he recently got a load of the new sequential ones in

Single exit Invidia titanium system now available at Tarmac Sportz
Ztox replied to Tarmac's topic in Tarmac Sportz
I'm going to assume with a large helping of confidence that it will be fairly loud, but then I haven't heard it so can't be certain. It would be pretty tragic if you got keyed because of it though. -
Welcome to the club Chris. I believe I saw the MR2 at JAE too, nice looking car. The GT86 isn't bad either
