GT86 TRD 2013 31,000 miles First registered March 2013 Full service history from new with all receipts present. balance of 5. Year warranty until March 2018 with MOT Alcantara and leather heated seats. Manual gear box. Demo plus one mature owner. Always parked in a heated garaged and pampered with no expense spared. Full TOYOTA main dealership service history k&n panel filter michelin pilot sport tyres all round Plate not included in sale will be on original "13" plate. This GT has been an excellent fun car to own and use whilst also being economical! It is not in use everyday as I have other vehicles so mileage will not increase much at all.Happy to put a full years MOT for peace of mind if required. It would make a good project car for anyone looking to modify one as it is a genuine TRD and there are only about 145 TRDs registered. A likely future "classic". Car is located in Yateley, Hampshire. Contact John Wight 07879 773958 for more info or appointment to view.

Had a fun day today at Thruxton with the Farther in law doing the skid experience day. Started in a front drive mini then swapped over to the GT86. mini was not nice and went quickly into oversteer. Was worse with all AIDS on! Toyota was great fun and our instructor praised what a great car it is and how balanced it is. He also said he'd prefer his daughter to drive a GT86 over a mini any day as it's easier to control. Would recommend this event as a first stage for anyone before they venture out on their first track day.

Sorry guys and girls couldn't make this. See you all soon. john

Would you buy an ex publicity car?
Polishingpedlar replied to chris.tarry85's topic in GT86/BRZ General Chat
I did just this. I Bought an ex Toyota press TRD for a very good price. Have added near 20k miles over nearly two years with over 12 track days as well as sprints.Drive it hard and us it every day. The funny thing is it hasn't missed a beat and has not suffered any of the niggles that many others have! Of course it still has the warranty so what's to worry about? I honestly think treating cars like they are made from ice is a waste of time. Drive it hard and enjoy it. It's what Toyota had in mind when they designed it! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
Might also make this one. Will try and get a couple more to tag along also. potentially three white ones..

Always up for a "southern" meet.. Well, give or take 200 miles or so.

Official welcome Paul. I got mine from the same dealer as you! Enjoy it, looks a good one, I looked over it when I was in there couple of weeks ago! if you see another white TRD waving at you that will be me, i am just down the road from that dealer.

Welcome Paul! where abouts are you in Berkshire? There are probably a few of us locally to you. what colour have you bought, what spec and what plans do you have for it? john

Those cats seem to always want to get in or on my Car Lauren! That's why it went back into the garage as soon as Gordon left.

My father in law has just popped round to show me his new GT86. he is very pleased with it after ten years bent double into a lotus Elise on a daily basis! hopefully you'll see us both at events throughout the year with maybe the addition of his friend Kevin who also owns a white GT86!

Chillismokes 86 Detailed & Sealed (Gtechnic)
Polishingpedlar replied to rob275's topic in Cleaning & Detailing
Great write up Rob Good to show the effort required to achieve that level of finish. It also highlights the difference between a hand car wash and what always used to be called valeting(now detailing). The damage caused to paintwork and trim by hand car washes is immeasurable, safe cleaning methods like this will help protect vehicles for years to come as well as improving resale vaue at trade in time. it might be a good idea to show maintenance washes also? Just a thought.. Anyway, good work ! -
Welcome along Benji! if you enjoy 'driving' then you'll love the 86. I find it great fun mastering the art of driving again after many more powerful cars in the past. the VW is a very good car but rather predictable and as you say a safe choice. The GT 86 is a bit left field (which I like) and if you find your self explaining it to someone then they are not a car person! Have fun driving again my friend! oh and if you get a chance come and join us on track as the Drivers Club organise many many events to hone those skills in a safe environment. John

Honda Jazz is a car you borrow, not own...😜

I was at Grandprix raceware recently and they have a large selection of seats on show to try out for size. Easy to spend a lot of money in there ! Be careful! Still would phone before you make the trip buddy..

You planning on getting it on track? If so the TSS is a great place to start and lots of us compete.
