Hi Steve, Welcome and good choice of car! John
-
Law has changed recently regarding trucks. They are now limited to 60 mph. I drive a 7.5 DAF and believe me 60mph in ones of those is fast enough, especially when it's windy!
-
The first thing I did when I past my test was go on the motorway.Couldnt wait to go on the "fast road". It's funny because now I try and avoid them and search out the bendy A roads.

Hello and welcome to the forum. Look forward to seeing the mods you do. Please keep us updated. Ta.

Heated garage works too -
How long do you plan to keep your 86/BRZ?
Polishingpedlar replied to griffinnn's topic in GT86/BRZ General Chat
Loving mine, no plan to sell anytime soon. Will modify and keep in garage for a long time.its not my daily driver so not fussed about mileage or depreciation. It's to be enjoyed. -
Had a trickle charger on my old Alfa Romeo and both my bikes, never had a problem.. They are all sealed for life batteries..
-
Hello Matt and welcome... Both models have there plus points but I too went for Toyota mainly because at the time there were more available as ex demos. Good luck with search and keep us all posted on what you decide.

Love my heated alcantara seats as it helps with lower back pain. Not so keen on leather as I have found in the past that on track you can find yourself sliding out of the seat when cornering hard. Horses for courses really....

I'm a new owner and after lots of front wheels drive performance cars can confirm that the GT/BRZ are really great fun! Ok they are down on power for your fast dual carriage ways and motorway driving but on a good twisty A road they are a hoot. It's possible to stay with cars that are a lot more powerful and it does surprise them when they might leave you on a straight and then you catch up through the bends... As many on the forum members have gone FI I'm sure you'll have an opportunity to try out the extra performance before you take the plunge. My car has had a map and air filter only but is noticeably quicker than standard and I would recommend that as a first stage if your unsure about spending big bucks straight away. All the best with your decision. John

My nearest shell garage is in the next town approx five miles away however there is a cracking bendy A road all the way there so getting fuel is always fun! Nitro all the time for me too as Rob said it's not much different in price but performance and clean are better. Plus Lego toys at the moment too! It's a win win win....

Gutted for you. Did you loose the back end on the roundabout or just hit the curb? Good news no one hurt and that the bodywork is ok. Hope you get it fixed soon and it hasn't put you off the car.

If your not using regularly then yes a trickle charger is a good idea, always used them on my motorbikes and for little cost it's a no brainier really. Easy to fit, just remember to disconnect before reversing out the garage. John

Not sure on yellow myself... Probably need to see it in the flesh...

Miles from me!

GT86 RallyMaster Experience Days

Yep Fancy that...years since I've been on gravel. Could be a fun day out? -
Seems a lot of money for a "fake" TRD..
-
Thought the TRD was only white or black? Looks good in different colour though. I like...
-
I like the difference Kevin between the black of the spoiler and the painted finish. Would look even better with lower valance in carbon... As others have said Black and orange do complement very well. John

It's one I've had for twenty years! God I feel old admitting that... Will reveal all once it's on with my new GT 86.org stickers that turned up today. Does that mean I now have a modified car? Oh god will have to phone insurance company straight away.. Right not risking it, I'll just put it back in the garage.
