Welcome and nice to see it be driven as it should be!

Yes it is! Your mates a great photographer too! The car is all over the internet. Not that it bothers me as I will be driving it hard. That's what they are for. Its been really well serviced and still has four years warranty so I thought for the price I paid what the hell! I have some plans for it over the next few years but first I am just enjoying getting used to it. Would love to know any more info on the car as I am a bit geeky when it comes to service history etc...

Took the GT for its first proper drive today over to Henley on Thames and back and had three different people point at the car and two just stare at me and the misses as we were waiting at traffic lights. Decided to park up and check nothing was hanging off the car (nothing was). Bit weird we thought.... -
Loving the rear light too. Very nice.

The test drive is what did it for me Dean... I was concerned about BHP but in reality once I'd blasted it down a twisty A road I was sold. Then on the return leg we came through some wide damp roundabouts and wow what fun and all at relatively safe speed. Got back to dealer (Jemca in Bracknell) credit card out deal done. Best of luck with Whatever you decide. John

Had a neighbour come over today for a chat as I was wiping down the GT got talking about the car (he's an Audi man) and he thought it would be about 40k. Nice surprise I thought, offered it to him for a bargain 35k but not joy... LOL.. Just proves that these cars really are a bargain compared to what the general public perceive. Struggled to get him out the drivers seat... -
Hi Dean, I too had similar dilemma but after driving both I found the GT more commutative and involving to drive. As others have said there are plenty of tuning options out there if more power is required. I've not had mine long enough to say I need more power but I'm loving it as it is. However I had a Subaru STi with PPP so more power might be on the cards later.

Anyone know if I can get a sports cat or even remove the cat from my exhaust system? I would like a little more noise from the system but without changing the standard rear tail pipes. Help appreciated....

Had one try to race me so far, It was a Fiesta Zetec with a youth behind the wheel smoking a fag whilst trying to get into my boot. Did the decent thing and let him go, nothing to prove here against a little Ford. He was disappointed though as he strained his neck looking at the GT as he passed when I turned off. -

At first just enjoy driving it and exploring the limits of it(and me)! In a year or so I may go FI. (Read will do). Just nice to have a sports car again after four years of people carriers, vans etc...
