Nope, that was front calipers, adapters, lines, 2 piece discs and pads, these http://www.part-box.com/product_info.php?products_id=117408 with the ds2500 pads.

£1400 I believe with DS2500 pads

I have the AP formula big brake kit (332mm dia discs) that fit under my stock wheels without the need for spacers.
-
Probably less as it will be spinning at a slower speed to get the same power, and not many people have built the bottom ends to cope with what it can deliver.

This ones at 400bhp (albeit on race fuel) The spec of the charger is 400ps of air at 110,000 rpm

I've experience with the rotrex c30-94 units as offered by jackson / kraftwerks / litchfield on a different platform, 400hp is the headline number from the charger at the 'max rpm' in reality the maximum impeller speed of 100,000 rpm can be safely passed by 10-20% and in some cases higher. The problem that can happen with them is if the car is mapped to have a hard rev limit as it shocks the shaft. I've went with the HKS option, based on the rotrex blower but with a larger shaft (12mm vs 10mm) so should in theory be stronger. 400hp is my end goal too. There is criticism about the way centrifugal set ups make the power, as mid range is never that strong with them, the lines just go up at a steeper angle. My last car was a mini cooper s, it started life with a roots supercharger and was at ~ 280bhp, I loved its power delivery as the torque curve was very flat and it suited the nature of the car. I then build a race car and opted to go with a rotrex unit (centrifugal) and although I enjoyed it (340 bhp), it felt a bit lacking as I had been used to the torque from the roots type set up it had, and there was a problem with the unit. The car had an early rotrex unit (holset compressor cover) and was an ebay 2nd hand buy, the charger compressor wheel would stall when 20psi was reached (mini engines dont breathe well) Anyway, decided to change to a turbocharged set up and used a NGTC turbo from owen developments and I really enjoyed that (380bhp) it allowed a lazy driving approach on track due to the torque coming out of corners. I feel that a centrifugal set up will suit the gt86 more than the other options and thats my reason for going with the HKS, but I do fully see why people are interested in roots / twin screw and turbocharged set ups.

Have you decided on the FI option that you are going with? I've seen you mention avo but don't know if you have committed yourself to anything yet?

I put mine on a couple days ago - nexen winguard sports (all my local tyre place would supply, wanted nokians) I fitted them and raised the suspension too, I now have toe out at the rear so you can imagine just how loose the car is just now Alignment tomorrow though.

Longer video of Sunday
-
First session out was wet and very greasy, I couldn't get temperature in them. They were predictable, I can't compare them to a different tyre in those conditions to judge, I would say that there are better tyres for cold greasy conditions though. Dry was just as grippy and predictable as before, and I still like them in dry conditions, I would move to AD08R's once these wear out, but I doubt they will be twice as good so I will probably stick to budget track focused tyres tbh.

Had a small incident with a cone during one session, here's the passenger door...

Quick video from knockhill yesterday, need to do some tweaking of tyre pressures alignment / damper settings but the car behaved ok. Had quite a bit of low speed under steer that I'll get ironed out next year.
-
Mines in modifications section rob. Ta
-
Also ordered a whiteline positive shift bush and a whiteline roll centre and bump steer correction kit that I'll get fitted prior to Knockhill on Sunday.
-
Kw Clubsports fitted today, drive past glenshee on the way home. Rear arms didn't arrive in time so I'll fit them on Thursday
-
It will be FI next year for sure. I haven't decided which way yet though, still weighing options up / waiting for some 3rd party cosworth cars to be about
-
I don't miss mini ownership, but I do pine for more power on occasions. The lak of decent midrange is something you will undoubtedly miss, but above 4500rpm it doesn't feel that slow (unless you are on track doing all the hard work in the corners / being held up until you get onto a straight and said car drives away again lol)

Do you find the headrest fouls the back of your helmet / pushes your head forward any? If so then did you know that they are reversible? Take it out and put it in back to front - gives you that wee bit more room for your head

Pushing the traction button switches off traction control up to 30mph, once you go above 30 it reverts back to normal Pushing the VSC button engages 'sport' mode, it allows for moderate wheel spin and loosens the aids, if it thinks you are going to lose it it will kick in and potentially save you before you get to that stage Holding down traction control for 5 seconds puts everything 'off' but there are still some instances where an aid will come in and 'help' Lastly there is the pedal dance (Google it / YouTube) which switches everything off properly but keeps ABS active.

You need to decide what kind of power delivery, hp goal etc that you want first before anyone can recommend you a kit to suit what you want. Also car use. Turbo / centrifugal / roots & screw all deliver power differently.
-
These arrived today, will get them fitted prior to the Clubsports / spl arms going on

Lovely looking car.
