Had my Mot last week. £35 well spent [emoji1]

I'm intrigued. Why oh why?
-
Is there something wrong with that?

I'm getting the Mfactory 4.67 final drive fitted. Which would be the best manifold to go for EL or UEL?
-
Can you recommend any sites to buy one from? [emoji106]

Looks awesome mate. Well done. You taking orders ????? [emoji1]

Personally I would wait. Decide what you want to do with the car, save up, then do it all at once. You'll save money not having to adjust the map. I wouldn't add any parts without mapping it. But that's just me.

GT86 Turbo Kit & BRZ Turbo Kit from Tuning Developments
Foulsmell replied to Mike@TD.co.uk's topic in Tuning Developments
I've been a passenger in it and it goes like stink. -
There has been a thread about this topic on Civinfo for around 2 years. After thousands of posts of EP vs FN and EK vs FD and all that nonsense, the conclusion I have found is if you want one then buy one.
-
As a previous Type R owner I was waiting for this car. Performance and looks aside when I found out it was £33k I totally discounted it. My last gen Type R was £16k new there is no way this is twice as good. I started looking and dropped on my 86 which is more classy in the looks department then the new Type R. You shouldn't really compare these two cars as there is a huge price gap between them and they are in a different genre. Will be a good used buy in a few years.

May be they set the lorry on fire!

I've never seen this exhaust before. Looks fantastic.

What sort of labour costs/time are these to fit? -
Sort of stole this idea from Civinfo when I was on there. One for the detailers but everyone loves a good bead shot. Lots of opportunities now in the British summer. Here's mine today. LSP is Auto Finesse Tough Coat.

Show us your beads!

Looking good there mate. I love Collinite. Last ages and beads like mad. I've got 915 but I've not used it on this car with it being white as I can't see it to buff off. -
Would of preferred to do this but in the end I've decided against it. I'm going to get the JP manufactured primary exhaust from TD. Whilst there I'll get my 3rd year service done and Hel brake lines all at the same time.
-
Hi I'm considering getting JP to make me a custom exhaust for the 86. Firstly, does anyone have any good/bad experiences with them? And secondly, what would be an ideal spec? I'm staying NA and don't plan to do much past intake and remap. Cheers
-
I have a dilemma. If I go for the above its an hours drive away, then they need the car for a full day then there is the drive back. Tuning Developments sell what is in essence the same exhaust. They are 20 minutes from my house, will fit it in a couple of hours along with the positive shift bush for £1000 all in. Not sure what to do.

Look awesome mate!

Right. Been down to JPs this morning. Got the car on the lift and went through things. Basically you can have whatever you want. They will and can make anything. The quality of the work is really exceptional from the examples shown to me. I was quoted £890 for a resonated full primary system custom made on the day and fitted. Similar configuration to the Milltek system. Takes one full day to make and fit it.

Self healing clear coat...wow.....
Foulsmell replied to Mark-in-Stoke's topic in Cleaning & Detailing
From what I've read it seems to mask the scratches rather than sorbet them so in theory you could spray it over uncorrected paint to make it look brand new.
