Well..... The boot is worse! [emoji23] The exterior looks of the car are better but then a coupe always looks better than a family car. Build quality is far better. Interior design is probably better in the civic but the whole thing the 86 is better place to be. Not had chance to test the handling to the limits I had done with the civic but first impressions say it's very very capable. A little test run I do I could hit 73mph before I had to brake for a corner. I did it last night and I got to 70 in the 86 and there was more left. And that was against my modded civic. Fun factor. You can't beat rear wheel drive with a hot hatch. Simple. Slides at 15mph [emoji122] Economy and running costs. Cheaper than the civic. Practicality. Civic obviously. Better than the civic. Yeah definitely. The feeling you get from just sitting in it is far better. I think I will be keeping it for a long time. [emoji122]

Summit brace arrived this morning. Just need a car to put them on now! [emoji1] The Type R is getting stripped back to stock tomorrow and Wednesday then down to Mansfield Toyota to pick up the 86. [emoji1]

Just bought mate. Pick it up on the 15th. I don't know about the GT86 but on my Type R Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 2 where awesome. Especially in the wet.

Yeah will do. Was impressed with the speed. I've got a Summit front strut brace on the way too. I'm going to spray the stopper and the brace mounts black first before fitting.

First mod has arrived before I've even got the car! Got a brake stopper. Ordered on Monday arrived today all the way from Japan!

I don't know if I'm miss reading it but to get the full +80bhp it says you have to have the exhaust manifold too which is another £1500!

What a lovely price of engineering! It looks OEM unlike most of the other FI systems I've seen. The one to have for me.
