We're selling our Speed by Design turbo kit - will fit GT86 and BRZ. Comes with essential thermostatic oil cooler kit and brackets. We've had this kit on our demo GT86 and covered only a few thousand miles. It's in great condition and will allow your GT86 to make 280bhp+ Turbo kit is usually ~£3k + £500 for the oil cooler. I'm after £1,950 for the whole lot. Car will need to be remapped to use the kit safely. We can fit + map the car if required. Can ship to you directly or can be collected / fitted near Newbury, Berkshire.

Does anyone know what sort of torque the standard gearbox starts to get unreliable? We're thinking of rebuilding the engine on our GT86 and turning the boost up - just wondered when the 'box will give up!

I'm pretty new to this forum but have been a GT86 owner for a couple of years now. Our company GT86 is undergoing changes to make it a little more track orientated. The standard car is excellent as a day to day car, but we wanted to make it a little tighter, handle a little better and go a bit better. Here are a few pics of the work we've done so far. It started off completely standard - the first thing we did was to fit some Ohlins suspension. This probably wouldn't have been the first modification I'd usually carry out but we got them with the car and couldn't resist trying them out. Handled well on track: Next up was to tune the car with ECUTek - quite a complicated engine with variable in/ex cams, port and direct injection - so plenty to play with. Managed to get a a few more powers - this was on a completely standard car, with no hardware changes. To tighten up the suspension a little we opted to go for a full superpro kit - we've been using these on the 350Z and 370Z for years and it transforms the feel of the car Love the Superpro finish and quality - much better than most. Hopefully will stay looking good. We've also experimented with decat pipes, EL headers and inlet plenum spacers - all giving positive results after the necessary ECU tweeks. And finally, where we are now - about three quarters of the way through a turbo conversion: Mapping to follow - hopefully it'll liven things up a bit. Just hope the roads dry out soon...
