I took these before I shot off to Bute for the New Year, as you can probably notice from all the booze sat at the door in one of the pics. Really enjoying it, even though at the moment it only involves driving to work in the dark, and coming home in the dark. It does make going to work and coming home alot more fun. Had a few comments from workmates about it, most positive, but a few not so much. I'll put it down to jealousy or a healthy hatred of yellow. It certainly polarizes opinions, and surely that's a good thing. As long as I like it

Thanks Lauren, I thought as much, but wasn't sure. I saw one online a few months ago for just shy of 19 1/2 grand, but thought that seemed a bit inflated. I know some dealerships can hike the price initially, so that they can stick a 'Recently reduced' sticker on it. Loathe to sell, but it's just kinda sitting in the driveway looking pretty at the moment!

Hi guys, hoping someone can give some advice on the car. I've had something of a change in circumstances, and there is a possibility of needing to change the car. However, not seeing any Giallo's on the second hand market, Pistonheads, Autotrader etc, I have no idea what kind of price bracket I should be looking in for selling her on. Really looked after the car, and only 8000 on the clock. No 38. Ballpark figure anyone? Cheers Stevie

Welcome along pal. Glad yer enjoying the car. Got mine on Christmas eve, and still finding my feet with it. Just gone over 1000 miles ( work has really been smashing my globes ) so I'm about to take her over 5k tomorrow. Looking forward to it. Might see you at a meet this year. Fully intend making it to one. :-)

I like the bodykit on the FRS. Look's pretty good.

Well, just watched it, and as daft and staged, and entertaining as usual. Totally agreed with Hammond on the Huracan. Wouldn't mind the price of one though.

Hi fella. Welcome along. Car looks nice in picture.

Welcome along mate. Hope your enjoying your car.

Thank's. Yeah, the weather hasn't been great of late. SW Scotland isn't particularly known for having parched conditions, but the last few month's have been unusually unpleasant. On the upside however, the day's are starting to noticeably lengthen, and when you get the great weather in this part of the world, the vista's make you want to drive the tank dry.

Sound's sensible. I'll start easing the rev's up. Not an unpleasant noise, so I'm sure it wont be a hardship!

I just ticked over 700 miles mate. Work's been busting my sprouts since I got back in the new year, and just haven't had a proper opportunity to take it out for a lengthy spin on my own. That's the first month up yesterday. Really, really liking it. Haven't had it over 4000 yet. I think I may have it for the long haul, so trying to do right by it and run it in properly. (even though the dealership said it's not really necessary) (can anyone elaborate, is this really the case?)

How long do you plan to keep your 86/BRZ?

Nice one mate. You going with decal's or taking it naked? -
I've had this recently, but I think it's basically just from getting into the car after getting drenched from walking to car. I had it in my Abarth, and now in the GT86. Work's van too when I think about it. I got a rather natty dehumidifier pad type thing from ASDA and it seems to work a treat. Reusable too. You just stick it in the microwave for 5 mins when indicator changes colour. Cost about a tenner I think. Tried to find a link to the one I got without any success, but saw this on AMAZON. http://www.amazon.co.uk/Cuttable-Car-Dehumidifier-Bag-Condensation/dp/B00GRXE1SQ

Nice pics mate. Thank's for posting!

GASP.................I didn't get the ribbon on mine!!! However, I was told that it had just a standard head unit, so you can imagine my surprise when I pushed the Nav button on it, and found it had Touch and Go. So unless it is standard on the Giallo, it was well met.

I saw this at the Prestwick Airshow last september too. The noise it made on it's flypast made practically every baby in a 3 mile radius cry. Quite a machine!

Oh and meant to ask mate. You going with the Decal's, or keeping it naked? The car obviously!

Hi guys, Thought I'd jump on quickly and introduce myself. Picked my car up on Christmas Eve, so still really finding my feet with it. This has been the most sober festive period for some time, as having it out on the road, is much more fun than staring at the bottom of glass (Honeymoon period perhaps) Went for a test drive just over a month ago, and knew less than 5 minutes after leaving the forecourt that it was going to be the replacement for my current car. Had my eye on a Pearlescent White they had in the dealership, and was set on getting it. However..........on a return trip to basically "do the deal", the sale's guy took me through to the back shop to show me what they were prepping to put out on the floor. To cut a long story short, I ended up getting a Giallo instead (No 38). All my car's to date, have been Silver, Black or White, so it's a bit of departure for me. Yellow is love it or loath it, but I think it looks great on the GT. Car history.........some good.........some meh.........some is ehhhh, filler to get no claims up. 500 Abarth (White) (which I've just traded in) (for a RWD car) 370Z GT Silver Honda Civic 8th Gen Nighthawk Black 350Z GT Silver Toyota Celica 7th Gen Silver (not 190) Fiat Stillo (Yes I know) In some kind of blue purple hue, and it tails off even more, so I'll leave it there. As far as modding goes, I really want to leave it as is for now. At least until I get to grips with the car's (and my own) abilities. I've been on forums and meet's before when I had the 370 and it was a good thing to be a part of, so thought I'd have another stab. I'll get some pictures up as soon as I get a decent enough day to get some photo's taken. Cheers for now, and hope this find's you all well. Steve

My daily driver before my recent purchase, was a little 500 Abarth, and the GT is far more composed and comfortable to drive than the scorpion was. (as well as more exciting........don't want to sound like I should have bought a Jazz) It just feels very special to me. I'm still in my first few weeks of ownership, but there really isn't anything else I can see myself in for a while(unless the euromillions comes up tonight, and the LFA comes into my affordability bracket) -
Welcome along mate. Hope your having fun with it.
-
I'm really loving it thank's mate. It's certainly a different driving experience than the Abarth. Hope the acquisition goes off without a hitch.
-
Gratz mate. Hope your enjoying your's as much as I am.

Thank's for the words of welcome guys, and good to see an active and friendly forum. As long as my calendar is empty, and work isn't busting my globes, I'll make an effort to get to what I can.
