Hello Everyone So after speaking with @Deacon & @Keethos we've decided to try somewhere a little different for the next midlands meet, or shall I say somewhere more up market. It's a BBQ Smokehouse on the outskirts of Coventry, so think big juicy beef steaks, ribs, beef brisket with Texas gravy, etc and you'll get the idea (hell if that doesn't help I've added a couple of pictures below, which should get your mouth watering). This shall definitely be one that you don't want to miss. There is ample parking, but they do get rather busy so if we can all aim to get there for 11:30 so we can all park up together (no earlier please). I've already booked a table for 15 people for 12:30, there is also a bar area for anyone that doesn't want to eat (crazy as that sounds). Please add your names to the list below. Please be aware they kind of have a dress code which is smart casual and do not allow the following: sportswear, fancy dress, football shirts and gentlemen wearing vest tops. Good afternoon all! We're booking up a way in advance with project work currently, as we did a couple of successful open days over the last 12 months, we've decided to see about arranging another one in the Spring of 2017 We're located just off the M6 and access and parking is very good where we are. Tuning Developments Ltd Unit 32 Melford Court Hardwick Grange Warrington Cheshire WA1 4RZ We were thinking of early/mid April time, I have shortlisted possibly the 2nd April or the 16th April. Both dates are a Sunday. The latter being followed by a bank holiday Monday. Sunday April 16th - 10:00am onwards Hopefully the weather shall be a little warmer than it is currently and we'll get a nice day, we'll have some parts out on show for people to see and look to put some offers on for the day if people would be interested. We'll also have the dyno running again as per previous open days for people to have a power run session for a reduced cost. We'll have our 86 here and if people wish we can demo the turbo kit and so forth. Last but not least we'll look to put on the BBQ again and tea/coffee/soft drinks too as it seemed to be get a good response last time I counted around 30 cars last time so it'd be great to get something similar if not more than last time! Rob's GT86BQ - Part 3 Some of you have asked and of course it seems fitting I need to have a GT86BQ again this year! I guess my cooking can't be that bad as i've been asked again! As before there are hotels not too far away & a spare bed. You do not need to bring food, I will feed you all unless you are a vegetarian then bring your own veggie burgers etc! Hi Guys, Some of you may know I hosted a BBQ last year and it had a fairly good turnout and I didn't poison anyone.... I intend to do the same again this year so giving you all the heads up. . I'll probably do it on a Saturday and there is plenty of camping space in my Garden for those who want a few beers or I know some B&B's nearby etc. I have some pics from last time, just not on me other than this. So get your shorts out and prep the sun-cream UPDATE: Mark @ Abbey will also be opening up shop on the Saturday for another Dyno day & wheel Alignment demonstration So the plan is to go to the dyno day then back to mine for a BBQ Date: 30th August 2014 Location: Abbey Motorsport RH8 9HJ Time: Dyno Day (8:30 am Onwards) BBQ: After dyno is finished up 15 minute convoy.
