Hi Guys, I’m putting on a small meet at Fuel coffee house in Henfield on Sunday 8th March with my cars and mental health clothing brand Takona. It will be on from 9–12 with space for about 20 cars. I know there’s been an 86 meet there before and unfortunately I wasn’t able to attend, my car was there though as Golding barn were repairing it after it’s run in with a lorry. Would be good to meet a few of the sussex based owners now I’ve got my car back. FB event for anyone that like to keep tabs on there. https://facebook.com/events/s/takona-fuel-meet/240546866960849/?ti=icl

Hi just throwing this concept out there. TeamSport Karting are willing to host a bunch of rowdy 86 BRZ drivers for a social meet and some on track fun. This is a chance for some of the Toyota sprint drivers to test their skills on an equal basis and for the none sprint drivers to compare how they could do on circuit. No attending will be a proffesional racer. Family and friends are ore that welcome. It's also aneed opportunity to meet other Toybaru owners and chat about the cars over a tea coffee or something stronger if you wish. The circuit is indoors, located in Rochdale and has a huge parking area. Format and cost for the racing will depend on numbers wanting to attend. If you think this is a good idea please let me know below and state if you think an evening meet or a weekend meet would be preferable . If you want to attend and race comment in bold below. It will help me double check numbers. No date has been set in stone yet. Cheersr all.

So after @Special K asking about a meet on the 28th and not being able to do it we'll do one on the 27th, which happens to be my birthday We'll meet at the Lion Inn for breakfast/lunch or just a drink After that, those who want to can go for a drive somewhere. I'm happy to go with @Special K's suggestion of Burnham-on-Crouch , never been there myself With a bit of luck we'll have some nice weather. With regards to timings, it can be up to a majority vote. Would people rather meet early (9/10am) or a little later(11/12ish)? Also, would you like to eat at the Lion Inn? Or we could just meet there, have a drink perhaps and then eat in Burnham-on-Crouch. @Special K do you know of any good places there? 1. Ztox + Chloe 2. Special K 3. Leevsfortyone 4. Good afternoon all. Hope everyone in the gtrz world is well. I'm organising a show and shine meet with the options if food drink or possibly a bbq. The meet will have a friendly competition with two categories firstly the cleanest most polished and best presented car as voted by the attending club members. Secondly the best car as chosen by the landlord of the hosting establishment. Entry into the competition will be a pound with monies going to the charity Joe halliwell foundation in support of Cry cardiovascular risk in the young. Provided the entry numbers are high enough there will be a trophy for each winner. The establishment of choice will be the greyhound Inn at Warslow near Buxton. I'm not organising a drive on this occasion but the roads to the pub are some of the best I've found. The date is yet to be confirmed in stone but will be either late April early May planning around the TSS round 2. So I can liaise with the host could interested members let me know below. Friends and family are welcome and can enter the landlords choice competition if they want. Thanks for reading and your interest.

Hey guys, The Evans halshaw car cafe starts up again on the 1st of April, it's at Annesley, Nottinghamshire which is junction 27 of the M1, normally a nice display of cars with some good variety. I'm heading down if anyone fancies the ride over. Will be there around 8/8:30 they have a food wagon for coffee and breakfast cobs etc couple of pics from the last one I went to, quite a bit of variety usually turns up.

Hey guys! Been speaking to @Mark-in-Stoke for a couple weeks about meeting up, but because of the weather, we've postponed it over and over again. I was planning on meeting him again after Christmas, but thought it would be a good idea to extend this to everyone else (albeit short notice). The meet will be on 27th December afternoon. Britannia stadium Harvester If this doesn't happen, I will still go and meet Mark Anyone up for this? Table Table for ten people is now booked for 12pm. I'm personally aiming for a 11am arrival. Though I could get there earlier if people want to gather for a bit before food! This is the second LoT Trackday we have the pleasure of attending this year. Blyton is a bit of a favourite as not only is it part of the TSS every year, it's also a great technical. but short track for the GT86 & BRZ. On top of that, it's relatively cheap! The only prerequisite to joining up on these trackdays is that you are currently a Premium Member. If you sign up and aren't a Premium Member of the GT86 Drivers Club you will be refunded your money and your booking cancelled. Originally a WW2 airfield Blyton Park was for many years used for the odd grasstrack event, but new owners have breathed new life into the circuit. With new tarmac and plenty of grass and concrete run off Blyton is a deceptively fast and technical circuit, which can challenge experienced drivers, yet also provide a fun and safe first time out experience for novices. 1.6miles long, the track is fairly flat. Maybe the UK’s Abbeville. The day will run in open pit lane format. Directions: click here Length: 1.6 miles Noise limit: 105db static / 95db drive by 20m Format: Open Pit Lane Price: £125 Instruction: £25 Crash Helmets: £20 2nd Drivers: FREE You must bring a full driving licence which will be checked at sign on. Final instructions will be emailed out 3 days before the event In order to book on to this day click the following link: http://goo.gl/x8VJDE

rob275 posted a calendar event in Official Club Events

If you sign up and aren't a Premium Member of the GT86 Drivers Club you will be refunded your money and your booking cancelled. Day is being run in Open Pit Lane format and suitable for all experience levels. Racking up more miles today resulted in impromptu mini meet. WTF is that noise...? ah that must be Chosenman007 Yep, I heard it before I saw it! Love the car though, (even with the bling) Thanks for the chat and advice on possible mods (and for pointing out my car was dirty! lol) Here are a couple of pics. My baby does look like the poor cousin here... I really must try harder! So, looks like I need: Exhaust Engine remap Wheels Stickers... Lots & lots of stickers... See you next time

As I will be heading 'up North' on Saturday just wondered if anything is happening around Leeds/Bradford area? If not and anyone's fancies a mini meet/drive I will be heading north from Worcestershire to West Yorkshire on the M1, driving very (ahem) sensibly! Feel free to join me for a 'sensible' drive
