Hi Everyone, Really an apology for not posting for some time, we have been so crazy busy working on and mapping the cars there just hasn't been much time for posting! Big news for Fensport is the launch of our new website spring next year, with the help of a fellow 86 enthusiast our plan is to bring you, hopefully, the best "Toyota" site ever! The new site covers 138 Toyota models and around 5,000 products, so as you can imagine its a big job! It will be user and mobile friendly, much more informative, and we will have a dedicated blog which will allow us to feed our news in to the forum Here's a pic of our workshop, full of 86's as usual! Due to all our efforts going in to the new site, our old one is no longer being updated, stock levels will be correct, but if there is anything else you need drop Dan a line and we'll do our best for you ! Introducing the Ecutek EVi - Bluetooth Vehicle Interface Kit is a pleasure and something we have all wanted for a long time! The awesome new product has just been launched at Sema and we have 1 unit here for demo and beta testing. Price is yet to be confirmed! Info - Used in conjunction with the ECU Connect app and an iPhone or iPad, the Ecutek EVI-BT allows communication between the engine ecu and the iPhone & iPad, maps can be adjusted directly from the device in real time. The following features are available Live Data Display all factory and Race Rom parameters Data Logging The Data Log tool allows you to easily record log files. Simply press start and stop and then the log files can be accessed from the Archive in the main menu. Log files can also be emailed to your tuner direct from within the app. Performance Analyser A "snapshot" of the vehicle's performance can be recorded such as 0-60mph, quarter mile, Vmax and more. The info is saved as "Performance Results" and can be shared online instantly and can be saved for comparison. Map Switching 4 way map switching is available direct from the app. Boost Controller The App will allow boost to be controlled via either set parameters or on a "slider" from low to high* DTC Tool Check and clear DTC's Race Rom Custom Parameters Various driver options can be configured and input from the App in to "Custom Maps" which allows us to create many driver selectable custom options. eg: Valet Mode Boost Control Variable RPM Limit Soft/Hard cut rev limit Variable Power Launch Control Throttle control / sensitivity Live Adjustments Using the app as an input to Custom Maps we can configure the ecu to perform live adjustments to many key tuning tables ... eg:Ignition, Fuel, Cam maps etc. This is just the start for this exciting new product, there is much more on the way including Android development

Hi All, A *little* update on what's been happening to our GT86R this year (for those that haven't seen it at BHP or TSS) After finishing 2nd overall in the Toyota Sprint Series last year, Team Fensport have been very busy over the winter "off season". The aim was always to make the car significantly faster at the end of each year so changes for the 2014 season had to include more grip before more power!! The target? to get on top of the GT4's!!! First and most obvious is the fabulous Blitz Aerospeed wide arch kit as used on the Blitz Racing project Time Attack car and also Ken Nomura's Blitz Drift car in Japan. The kit was shipped over and we were so pleased with the perfect fit straight from the box! The Blitz kit allows for an 120mm track width on the rear and 110mm on the front. The arches have been cut out to provide more space for the new Rota 18 x 9.5" wheels which are clad in 265 wide Toyo R888's all round. Additional aero parts include custom front and rear canards, TRD aero fins, a higher rear wing and custom rear diffuser. Blitz Aerospeed test fitting The front bumper is a beautiful moulding, fits better than stock! and also can work with or without the front arch extensions Rear arch extension After test fitting the arch extensions we could cut out the original arches to make room for the 9.5 x 18 Rota Grid wheels You can see just how wide the 265 Toyo R888's are here The front end! Using an Mishimoto alloy rad and our own intercooler, we also added a modified front alloy bar (from a Lexus IS200) and have custom made air deflector shields and air intake. Before graphics Ready for graphics Graphics were designed in house by our expert graphic's designer who sometimes doubles up as a map man, mechanic, chief fixer, agony aunt, dogs body etc You have to have a plan! With the new found grip the team have also increased spring rates on the BC Racing external resevoir coilovers. Also upgraded is the Avo turbocharger to the billet version which offers the same incredible response alongside a 20% increase in airflow. The car has also been re mapped using Ecutek software to get the most out of the 108 ron race fuel, along with electronic "in gear" boost control which helps with traction in the lower gears. An M Factory Carbon propshaft has been fitted to reduce rotational mass. This is a prototype one and full details will be published shortly. 2014 Tech Spec Engine: Standard internals. Summit 3 point strut brace and 4 point lower brace, rear anti roll bar braces. Brakes: Front: Stoptech 4 pot calipers and 328mm discs with Ferodo DS2500 pads Rear: Stoptech grooved discs and Stoptech pads Hel brake lines and Millers racing brake fluid. Body: Blitz Aerospeed wide arch kit with side skirts. Custom front and rear canards, custom rear diffuser. carbon rear spoiler and carbon mirrors. Seibon carbon bonnet and boot lid. Plastics 4 Performance perspex windows. Track increased 110mm front and 120mm rear. Wheels & Tyres Rota Grid Drift 9.5 x 18 with Toyo R888 265/35/18 tyres. Safety: Custom Cages full FIA weld in cage. Corbeau Revolution seat. Luke 3" harness. Electric cut off, Racecar lithium battery, plumbed in extinguisher. 26/04/14 Pre season test at Blyton Park We headed off for their first test of the season just 1 day before the first round of the 2014 Toyota Sprint and GT86 Trophy series. Testing went fantastic with only shock absorbers, ride height and tyre pressures being adjusted in time for the 1st event. 27/04/14 Round 1 Toyota Sprint Series We couldn't of asked for a better start to the new season, after just 1 run, Adrian was reporting back and saying the car had incredible grip, great power and perfect balance. Hi Everyone, Just like to update you all on Ecutek for 2014, firstly we are offering a few new prices / services. Our Stage 1 map has been renamed as "Fensport NA Map" to reflect the fact that its not really stage 1 anymore as it is adjusted and tuned for each individual customer. The price has been reduced to £250 + vat for a trial period. License fee stays the same at £150 + vat. So if your car has not been mapped before you will need a license and a map totaling £400 + vat. Our remapping and development service is charged at £50 per hour for the first 2 hours then £45 per hour afterwards. We can also offer forced induction mapping and that is charged at the same hourly rates as above. There has been a lot of development over the winter and the new software has included a lot more features which has allowed us to fine tune our maps even further .... a big thank you to Ecutek for their continued development Idle control maps are now available and the cold start ignition retard can now be properly tuned out without the high idle speeds as seen before. previous customers who require this, please email me and I will send you new roms, or you can book in to have them programmed free of charge. New "End User Software" Release The Pro ECU programming kit can now be upgraded free of charge to include allow you to view or change the calibration of factory maps making it a perfect choice for those that want to "self tune". We can supply factory standard maps which are" open" allowing you to edit these maps yourself. The Pro ECU software will include the ability to edit all standard maps up to and including Advanced user level. The software also includes the following unique RaceROM features Launch Control Flat Foot Shifting Downshift Auto Blip Throttle Mapping (Accelerator Trim) Per Gear Rev Limits. Pro ECU programming kit costs £240 + vat RaceROM BRZ Upgrade (for Pro ECU Programming Kit) Designed as an upgrade for those wanting to self tune their vehicles, the RaceROM BRZ upgrade offers the following unique features: 4 Way Map Switching Speed Density High Horsepower Forced Induction Load Limiter Lift Custom Maps offering unique functionality, such as: Traction Control FlexFuel tuning Closed Loop Boost Control High / Low Electronic Boost Note: The RaceROM BRZ Upgrade is only required if "self tuning" and you require the extra functionality.
