  1. More Pictures To Follow Soon £12,000 ONO, Car Located In Essex. 51K Miles, Manual, 2 Owners. Highlights: 1 of 195 genuine Toyota GT86 Aero’s in the UK (as of 2023 Q4), Wossner Forged Pistons, Skunk2 Forged Conrods, Precision 5558 Turbo, K Sport Big Brake Kit (8 Piston – 356mm), Stronger Clutch Kit Upgrade – Twin Friction, Tomei Type-80 Exhaust System, Tein Flex A Coilovers. This car has been my absolute pride and joy for the last 6 years and has always been looked after and maintained to my utmost best. Full warm up and cool down cycles, regular servicing, only ever fueled with Shell V Power and has been detailed professionally on a yearly basis. This car was previously owned by Dan Smith (Ztox) who had it from brand new up until 3 years old when I bought it from him in April 2018. Dan had done quite a few tasteful mods that are listed below but can also be found on his forum topic here: https://www.gt86.org.uk/forums/forums/topic/2552-ztoxs-aero/?tab=comments#comment-39315 Lowlights: In December 2019 the GT86 went in for a forged engine rebuild, turbo, big brakes, clutch etc at Tuning Developments. I collected this in April 2020 but when I got home I had noticed it had been using a lot of oil. I kept an eye on this and kept topping it up regularly. In June 2020 the car suffered a Misfire (CANBUS Error) which was resolved with a new VVT Cam Sprocket RH Intake purchased from Toyota in Chelmsford and posted to Tuning Developments to rectify. I took the car to Tuning Developments in July 2020 and got the car back in December 2020. I had asked TD to check the oil to which they refused to take the car apart and see what was wrong (as clearly this was not right) but they said they had done some checks and it seemed normal for a turbo GT86. I knew I weren’t going to get anywhere with them, so I just kept topping up the car with oil. This was ongoing for 3 years, until the engine started to make a knocking noise in October 2023 (not low on oil as I checked this every day I drove the car – which was a pain but I put up with it). The car has not been driven since and is now just an expensive garden ornament as I can no longer keep up with the costs and therefore it is time for me to sell it and move on. With this in mind, I am listing this car for £12,000 which I think is reasonable given that the major work of the Forged Internals, Stage 3 Turbo Kit, Big Brake Kit, Clutch Upgrade etc come to £14,785 after £1,318 discount. Once this car has been repaired, the buyer has a LOT of car for the money they pay for it. 4. I gave the interior of my car a good clean last weekend, including giving the seats a well overdue proper scrub with leather cleaner. While I was there, I also decided to do the handbrake handle, the steering wheel and the leather gear knob with the same cleaner. I knew that the leather on my shift knob was a bit worn, but figured a clean wouldn't hurt - but it seems like I may have scrubbed it too aggressively (stop giggling at the back) and it seems to have actually taken the leather off in parts, leaving what feels like rubber underneath, which has also broken up a bit and feels quite rough. It's not a big issue, but it's one of those things that will annoy me every time I get in the car. I was going to buy a new genuine replacement, but before I do, I figured I'd ask here, as I guess a lot of people might have switched to an aftermarket shift knob. Does anyone have an OEM black leather shift knob kicking about that they don't need and would be willing to sell? If so, please give me a shout

  8. Hi everyone! I'm putting my Toyota GT86 up for sale which is quite sad. I collected this car on 22/12/2016 and it has been great to me. It has never failed to start, never broken down. The car has 51,000 miles on it - I'm asking for £13,000. Red paint, red/black half leather half alcantara, heated seats, sat nav, 6 speed manual, folding door mirrors, cruise control. MOT valid until 8th November 2018 The car has a full service history since 2012 It comes with 2 keys. It currently has some modifications done to it which will be removed before sale. Car will be sold with the following modifications left installed. -Eibach Pro Kit lowering springs (25mm drop) -HT Autos bottom line kit installed. -Satin carbon fibre roof vynil by Dub Customs -12" x 3" front number plate (as well as standard sized front number plate with bracket and screws) The car had a small bump a few months ago from another car, so there is minor paint cracking in the rear bumper below the rear number plate. I have checked the bumper and only the paint is cracked, not the bumper. I have many pictures of this car I can show, however this post will only allow me to post 26mb in attachments to this post! I'm open to answering all questions.

  10. Hello, I'm planning to buy a Toyota GT86 very soon. I've found a very good Automatic 2015 with reasonable price. I've seen all those thrilling videos for people drifting this car (Chris Harris, Top Gear, etc), and drifting is one of the main reasons I'm buying this car. Now, will I be able to drift this automatic car in the "manual mode" the same way those people drifted the manual one? Are there any differences between drifting the automatic (semi-automatic) vs the manual version of this car? Many thanks
