Afternoon all, Hope you're all doing well. I'm Luke, I bought my 2017 86 back in August 2019 and I've been absolutely loving it. I've recently been looking at Milltek's Second Cat Back system and pondering whether to go with Res/Non-Res. As much as the non-resonated system would be awesome, I think it may just be a bit too loud for the sake of my neighbours at 06:00hrs when I leave for work. Although, as I've not had chance to actually listen to the resonated system in person, I'm not sure on how much of an advance off the stock exhaust it is. Is there much of a noticeable difference? Does anyone have any advice or experience on the above? I've only been driving a couple of years so I've got limited experience into the world of car mods, so if you have any ideas of starting points for performance modifications for someone new to the game, that would be much appreciated. FYI it's my daily driver (raking in 18k miles a year) so nothing too hefty thanks! Stay safe! Luke

Resonated Catback, want it to be louder! - Suggestions?
Tsarlz posted a topic in GT86/BRZ General Chat
Hey all, I've spent a decent amount of time searching on the forums, and I know this is somewhat subjective but hear me out. I have a resonated milltek system on my 86 (put on by previous owner) which sounds great at the moment, although I'd like it a bit louder and have been advised that a frontpipe is the way to go to lose the secondary cat. I am really trying to avoid the raspy end of "loud" and more the grumbley roar kind of end. I've had a suggestion to simply get an exhaust shop to fabricate a front pipe rather than buy a branded one, but wanted to know people's thoughts? Does anyone have a resonated milltek who's done something similar? Thanks in advance! -
Hello, Can anyone inform me about the sound level of an Invidia Q300 compared to a Milltek resonated catback ? Is the Resonated Milltek quieter or the Invidia ? I already have the Milltek installed but I would prefer a bit quieter exhaust. The only aftermarket exhaust I have listened to other than the Milltek, is a TRD muffler, which sounded exactly like the OEM, (and apart from the look), it didn't impress me. I live in Greece and there are very few cars available to see and listen to and most of them have the OEM exhaust. Also, What about the Q300 replicas, anyone with experience ? I can find loads of them on ebay on competitive prices Looking forward to your comments

Anyone interested for a Milltek Resonated Cat-back exhaust? It has about 15.000 miles (20.000 km) on the clock and as you can see it's in great condition without any rust. The photos were taken when the clutch disk assembly was replaced a few months ago. Just needs polishing. I bought it about 700 pounds, so I'm thinking around 350 considering the good condition. · Hi all. Need to clear my garage so want to shift some exhaust parts at bargain (I think) prices. First up I have a Milltek resonated or non resonated secondary cat back exhaust system (I have both centre pipes so you can take your pick). I'm looking for £400. If you would like to buy one of the centre pipes separately I'm looking for £125, but once I've sold one I will want to sell the other with the exhaust system. Lastly I have a Berk Technology front pipe with high flow cat, I would like £165 for this. All of these parts are nearly new having been used for between 25 - 200 miles. I live in Essex and can deliver if close by or maybe meet you half way (depending on where you are located).

I'm selling my week old exhaust and high flow cat due to it being incompatible with my head (same reason I had to get rid of my TVR). The parts have done around 200 miles so basically new (distance travelled is from Fensport to my house and then back again to get the stock parts put back). First reasonable offer secures. I'm based in Essex but might be prepared to deliver/meet someone half way depending on distance.
