Hello all,

We've decided to put together a package for those wanting to release more power from their GT86 or BRZ, without going for forced induction :)

The kit contains the following:

'Before' Dyno Run

Tuning Developments Manifold (EL or UEL)

Tuning Developments Overpipe

Gaskets

Heat Wrap For 'Downpipe' Section

K&N 'Drop In' Replacement Panel Filter

Installation

ECUTeK License

In House Remap On The Dyno

£1495.00 inc VAT

This package has been proven to remove the torque dip which plagues these cars, along with making more peak power. The whole curve is stronger, making the driving experience much more enjoyable! The ECUTeK Remap features the excellent RaceROM which gives you 4 switchable maps via the cruise control stalk which can be adjusted whilst on the fly. For those without cruise control we can set this up via the heated rear window button. Net gains are upto 30lb.ft through the mid range and upto 25bhp peak power (based against a 100% factory car).

You do not have to have an aftermarket exhaust, this is completely optional. The second CAT can also stay in place if needed. This gives an end result of a car that when cruising, sounds very close to OE sound levels, and has a pleasant bark to it when pressing on through the gears. The gains in torque make it much nicer to drive and give a far more linear delivery.

The top dyno graph has the factory second CAT and factory exhaust.

The lower dyno graph has a high flow second CAT and an aftermarket exhaust.

Amazing value Mike, this should be a no brainer for anyone.

I spent around the same money buying similar parts, except I had the hassle of importing parts from the US and having the manifold fitted by a non-GT86 specialist, so this is a truly great price.

If only you had this available when I bought my car.

Looks good Mike, I have Miltek resonated with overpipe and HKS drop in filter and remap.

Would you look at just manifold change with remap to suit?

If you're on the stock manifold still Mike then yes the torque dip gains are most certainly there to be had with replacement manifold and remap to suit.

If you prefer, give me a shout to discuss.

Thanks

Mike

Brilliant package!

I've got everything above from TD, only difference to mine is a Cosworth panel filter instead, Berk HFC and Milltek secondary cat back (mine is the second dyno graph picture). Products, workmanship and service from TD was brilliant when I dealt with them. Not to mention the fact the car has been transformed with the parts and map done :D

Wish you'd done it before though Mike.... package works out a tad cheaper 😂

You are fast becoming my favourite GT86/BRZ specialists. Great package, tempted to jump on this then follow up with the turbo a little later.

As noted in other threads either option of manifold is suitable to be 'upgraded' to our turbo kit at a later date, thus reducing the cost of the turbo kit install :)

Thanks

Is downpipe heat wrap really necessary?

Peace of mind, we've tested ours without previously before going turbo charged and saw no negative results.

Having it installed can only benefit engine bay temps regardless :)

Thanks

This is a very tempting deal. Could you supply and fit a Miltek too?

If you would like to drop me a message or email I can happily quote you on some exhaust options. :)

Thanks

We've been busy with these kits and fitting manifolds in general. Thank you to all who have been down and allowed us to address your torque dips! :)

More dyno sheets have been added to the original post at the top :)

Thanks

Mike

Very nice. One might say tempting, especially since you've gone to such effort documenting it. Permit me a few vulgar practical questions!

1. Any idea what kind of volume it'll make at a trackside static RPM noise test?

2. MOT pass, MOT scrape if hot, MOT likely fail?

3. Would you recommend the noise generator be kept or blocked off?
